Their responsibilities include recruitment, deployment, training, manpower planning, staff welfare, and industrial relations. This area also covers compensation, benefits, health and safety, employee welfare schemes, and change management.
B. Finance or Operational Work: Finance management executives are responsible for their organization's financing. They handle budgeting, execute financial programs, and conduct benefit-assessment jobs.
C. Production: This extensive area directs, coordinates, and controls the operational aspects of an organization. It involves the efficient use of humans, machines, and materials to plan physical production. Depending on the organization, it may also include planning, purchasing, material control, and equipment maintenance.
D. Marketing: The marketing and sales department ensures goods and services reach the user. Marketing management involves planning strategies to deliver goods and services efficiently and at minimal cost. It includes market research, analysis of customer needs, new product planning, and sales forecasting. Marketing managers also implement policies and find customers.
E. Information Services: Management Information Services hold significant importance. This area involves collecting, processing, and disseminating information to enhance an organization's capacity.
