CMC Ludhiana’s course choice is broader than MBBS. The college and its associated Christian Dental College, College of Nursing, College of Physiotherapy and Institute of Allied Health Sciences list undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma pathways. The most useful first distinction is how each programme selects students and which document controls the fee: medical and dental fees can follow Punjab government notifications, while nursing and allied courses may publish itemized college schedules.
The official 2026 UG bulletin describes MBBS, BDS and BPT. It reports annual intakes of 100 MBBS, 40 BDS and 20 BPT; these are the bulletin’s published figures, not a guarantee that every category or seat remains available in a later session. Nursing documents cover B.Sc. Nursing, General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), and M.Sc. Nursing. A 2026 notice separately names eleven B.Sc. allied and healthcare offerings, including medical radiology and imaging, radiation therapy, anaesthesia and operation theatre technology, optometry, emergency medical technology, dialysis, ICU, cardiac, orthopaedic assistant and plaster techniques, neurophysiology, and perfusion.
That mix matters for budgeting. A long professional course may have government-regulated tuition, a college fee schedule, university charges and optional residential costs. A course listed by the institute is not automatically open for the 2027-28 intake. The latest CMC admission index reviewed for this guide is headed 2026 and shows separate, dated notices by programme. Use it as a directory, then read the current prospectus for the exact course and session before applying.
For MBBS and BDS, CMC’s 2026 bulletin does not print a standard rupee tuition amount. It says tuition is charged under the latest Punjab government notification for 2026, as published in the BFUHS prospectus or on the university website. The same section says university registration and miscellaneous charges are additional, and that hostel and other charges are ₹50,000 per year if that facility is used. Electricity and mess are expressly excluded from that residential figure. The bulletin allows fees to be revised when a later Punjab government notification applies.
So a first-year estimate requires the exact applicable BFUHS schedule, the seat category and any extras. Do not use the ₹6.60 lakh MBBS or ₹2.20 lakh BDS figures printed in older 2024 material as a current quote: the 2026 CMC bulletin directs applicants to the newer government notification and BFUHS prospectus. We did not verify a 2027-28 fee document in the official materials reviewed, so those 2026 rules are historical reference only.
The same bulletin gives a separate full-course amount for the 15% NRI quota: US44,000 for BDS. It labels these amounts as subject to government notification. Treat them as the bulletin’s 2026 quote, not a fixed exchange-rate estimate or a later-cycle offer. Confirm payment schedule, category eligibility, hostel, electricity and mess separately with BFUHS and CMC before accepting a seat.
CMC’s 2026 BPT table gives a first-year total of ₹94,550. That total includes ₹40,000 tuition, ₹10,000 admission, ₹10,000 establishment, ₹6,000 institutional library, ₹5,000 security, ₹13,050 university-related fees, ₹5,500 health services, ₹4,000 student association and ₹1,000 orientation. Admission, security and orientation are marked one-time items. The table then lists ₹74,550 for year two, ₹74,550 for year three and ₹79,550 for year four.
For a like-for-like comparison, keep tuition separate from other charges and one-time payments. The 2026 document says girls’ hostel accommodation is offered subject to availability in the Edith Brown or Snow Hostel; it does not state a BPT hostel price in this table. Do not add the separate MBBS/BDS hostel figure to BPT. The management reserves the right to revise the schedule, and the document says scholarships may be available from the second year after assessment. Neither availability nor award amount is guaranteed.
The 2026 admission bulletin also says BPT selection used Class 12 board marks, whereas MBBS and BDS used NEET-UG merit. That difference is useful when shortlisting: compare the BPT academic record, total first-year charges and four-year schedule as a distinct pathway rather than treating it as a lower-cost version of medicine.
The B.Sc. Nursing prospectus labels ₹1,47,800 as the 2026 first-year fee, covering both the first and second semesters. It itemizes ₹80,000 tuition and the remaining college, university, health, student-association and orientation charges. The prospectus marks admission, security and orientation fees as one-time. For later years it lists ₹80,000 tuition plus ₹51,800 other charges in years two and three, then ₹70,000 tuition plus ₹56,800 other charges in year four; it also states that a stipend is paid during the internship period. These figures are a 2026-27 schedule, not a guaranteed total for a student starting in a future year.
The prospectus separately lists a female hostel charge of ₹24,000 per year, ₹1,500 per month for extra electrical appliances, and mess at ₹3,000 per month. The mess fee can change. Keep those amounts outside the college fee total and ask whether room availability, electricity use and meal arrangements fit your circumstances.
GNM is a different diploma route, with centralized counselling through the Punjab Nurses Registration Council. CMC’s 2026 bulletin sets first-year college fees at ₹79,550, including ₹36,000 tuition and a refundable ₹5,000 security deposit. Its later-year schedule lists ₹36,000 tuition plus ₹31,350 other charges for year two, then ₹36,000 plus ₹36,350 for year three. Female hostel, extra appliance electricity and mess amounts are shown separately at ₹24,000 per year, ₹1,500 per month and ₹3,000 per month respectively. PNRC counselling fees, examination fees, books and personal expenses are not part of that college total. The bulletin says both the mess fee and college charges can be revised.
The 2026 M.Sc. Nursing prospectus gives a first-year total of ₹2,03,500: ₹96,000 tuition, ₹70,000 additional fee, ₹27,000 university and administrative fee, ₹5,500 health services and a refundable ₹5,000 security deposit. Female hostel accommodation, if desired, is listed at ₹30,000 per year. Additional BFUHS registration, examination and other charges may be decided separately, and the prospectus says the second-year fee would be notified later. A first-year figure is therefore not a full-course quote.
For Master of Physiotherapy (MPT), the 2026 bulletin lists tuition of ₹1,75,000 per annum. Its first-year total is ₹2,24,800 and second-year total ₹2,09,800, before annual examination, HSLIBNET and thesis submission fees. Hostel is subject to availability and accommodation and electricity charges apply separately. The bulletin states that its tuition table is for MPT in university-affiliated private health-sciences institutions and describes NRI tuition as US$30,000 for the full course.
For MDS, CMC’s 2026 information bulletin does not supply a final tuition figure: it says tuition and other fees will be notified after the Punjab government notification. That is the useful answer for budgeting today. Do not substitute an older dental schedule or assume the MPT rate applies to MDS. Check the current BFUHS prospectus, CMC notice, accommodation quote and any NRI rules together. The same caution applies to medical postgraduate courses when a specific fee schedule is not included in the current document you are reading.
CMC’s Institute of Allied Health Sciences is not one course with one fee. A notice posted on 22 October 2026 for the 2026-27 session listed B.Sc. programmes in medical radiology and imaging technology, radiation therapy technology, anaesthesia and operation theatre technology, optometry, emergency medical technology, dialysis technology, intensive care unit technology, cardiac technology, orthopaedic assistant and plaster techniques, neurophysiology technology, and perfusion technology. It was a college-level counselling notice for remaining vacancies on 30 October, and its seat counts are a dated vacancy snapshot. Those vacancies are not evidence that a seat remains open now.
The 2026 UG bulletin’s BPT schedule should not be applied to these allied B.Sc. courses. Likewise, a B.Sc. Nursing prospectus or GNM fee table does not price another department’s programme. The October allied notice refers applicants to the university online portal and CMC for counselling but does not provide a course fee table. We therefore leave each allied programme’s tuition, duration and hostel cost unquoted here rather than borrow figures from a neighboring course.
The wider institutional catalogue also spans medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy and allied-health education, with postgraduate and diploma routes. For each specialist programme, first confirm that a current session prospectus is posted; then compare its award title, length, clinical or internship requirement, affiliation and fee schedule. If the programme page and the counselling authority differ, use the document that governs that course and admission year, and ask the Registrar to resolve any conflict before paying.
Before comparing two CMC options, make a line-by-line estimate with separate columns for tuition, college charges, university registration and examinations, refundable security, one-time admission items, hostel, electricity, mess, travel, books, uniforms and any counselling or application charge. Mark each value as annual, semester, first-year, full-course or monthly. A figure labelled “first year” is not the cost of a degree; a “full course” NRI amount is not interchangeable with the domestic tuition schedule.
For MBBS and BDS, ask for the exact Punjab notification and BFUHS fee table for your category and year. For the courses with itemized 2026 tables, ask whether any revision has been issued and whether a hostel place is available. Then request a written amount due at reporting and a schedule for later instalments. Check refund, security-return and withdrawal terms before paying: these appear in the relevant prospectus and may differ by programme.
The college’s 2026 admission index points applicants to separate course notices and says the schedules may change. Use CMC’s Admissions 2026 index and the relevant BFUHS, PNRC or other competent authority page as a starting point, then download the current course-specific prospectus. For a 2027-28 applicant, a 2026 table is a comparison baseline only. Do not assume that a prior tuition amount, counselling date, category rule or hostel rate carries forward.
