Open the exact programme, fee period, admission route and source date before treating any row as a recommendation.

Start with the exact BDS college and admission route, then compare cost, campus and clinical learning. The directory above is useful for discovery, but it can also contain postgraduate dental programmes and broad university records. Confirm that each option actually offers the undergraduate BDS course before treating it as a counselling choice.
Already have your NEET AIR? Use the NEET College Predictor to investigate matching MBBS and BDS options. The free preview shows three distinct college matches. The continuation remains blurred until you enter your name and mobile number and complete OTP verification. The directory itself remains open for broader research.
Maharashtra's admission index links a provisional state CAP matrix printed on 25 August 2026. Its BDS section contains 28 distinct college codes: five in the document's government-labelled section and 23 in its private-labelled section. This is the source's grouping, not a new legal classification or a ranking created by Admission Guardian.
The matrix is a dated counselling document, not a complete census of every dental institution in Maharashtra. Its footnotes say the position may change because of authority, institution, court or council decisions. A college appearing here does not establish today's vacancy, your eligibility, its current recognition status or the fee payable for your seat.
Use the Maharashtra medical admission index to find the current state notices and the 25 August 2026 provisional matrix to verify the identities below.
The Maharashtra dental-colleges organisation page lists four government institutions, while this provisional CAP matrix has five codes in its government-labelled BDS section. Those sources serve different purposes. Preserve the matrix code and do not force the two counts into one unsupported statewide total.
Names and abbreviations follow the source. A similar brand name or nearby campus should not be merged without checking the code. Minority, private and deemed-university labels are also not interchangeable. Verify the admission route and applicable seat profile for the exact programme.
The state CAP matrix answers which BDS identities the dated Maharashtra document includes. MCC conducts separate NEET UG counselling for the participating All India, central and deemed-university routes described in its current bulletin. One list should not be presented as the complete inventory of the other.
If a college is absent from the state table, do not conclude that it is closed. Check the correct institution name, recognition record and counselling authority. If it is present, do not conclude that a seat is available today. Return to the authority's current notices before making or changing choices.
The state dental-admission page may display fee documents from a different academic year. Record the year before copying any amount. A figure without a period can mean first year, one semester, annual tuition or the whole course, and these values are not directly comparable.
Build one cost row per college and BDS programme. Record tuition, compulsory institutional charges, hostel, mess, instruments and materials, deposits, and travel. Label each amount as annual, semester-wise, one-time or refundable. Check scholarship eligibility and renewal before subtracting support from your family budget.
Do not treat a missing value as zero. Keep it as a question and link the official fee document or college notice you still need. When two institutions publish different cost categories, compare a common period and show which components remain unknown.
For every serious option, keep these fields together:
Open the relevant college profiles above and use Compare colleges for the options you would genuinely consider. Keep a missing-information column so an attractive name or previous cutoff does not silently answer unresolved questions.
If you are still working from expected marks, use the NEET Rank Predictor for an estimated AIR range, then replace it with your official AIR when available. A rank estimate helps structure research; it does not change eligibility or reserve a counselling choice.

The cited 25 August 2026 provisional state CAP matrix contains 28 distinct BDS college codes: five in its government-labelled section and 23 in its private-labelled section. This is the scope of that dated document, not a complete statewide census, a recognition list or a ranking.
No. Start with the exact college, course and seat route. Maharashtra CAP and MCC counselling are separate systems, and institution-specific conditions can matter. Keep the counselling authority, quota, category, round and code beside each option instead of combining all dental colleges into one unexplained list.
Use the same academic year, programme and cost period. Separate tuition, compulsory charges, hostel, mess, instruments, deposits and travel. Label annual, semester-wise, one-time and refundable amounts. A missing fee should remain an unresolved question until you find the applicable official document, not become a zero.
No. It uses your rank and matching historical context to help build a shortlist. The free view shows three distinct college matches, with deeper results after name, mobile and OTP verification. Eligibility, current choices and allotment still depend on the applicable authority's rules and portal.
