The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 results on April 20, 2026. Approximately 11.23 lakh candidates appeared for the engineering entrance examination held in multiple shifts across the country. The results are now available on the official website [jeemain.nta.nic.in](http://jeemain.nta.nic.in).
Out of the total test-takers, 26 students achieved a perfect 100 percentile, a remarkable feat that places them among the top performers in the country. The NTA has also released the list of these 100 percentilers along with their scorecards. Candidates can log in using their application number and date of birth to access their JEE Main scorecard, which includes percentile scores, All India Rank, and category-wise rank.
The JEE Main results are a crucial gateway for aspiring engineers. Qualifying candidates become eligible for admission to NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) through JoSAA counselling. Moreover, the top 2.5 lakh rank holders from JEE Main (across all categories) will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2026, the entrance exam for the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
With the results out, students should immediately download their scorecards and keep them safe. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is expected to begin the counselling registration process in June 2026. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official JoSAA website ([josaa.nic.in](http://josaa.nic.in)) and the NTA portal for announcements regarding counselling schedules and seat allocation procedures.
