How it works
For each selected subject, the calculator validates that obtained marks do not exceed maximum marks. It then uses the combined subject totals rather than averaging already-rounded percentages.
Best-five mode ranks subjects by their individual obtained-to-maximum ratio, then calculates one aggregate from the top five. Custom mode uses only the subjects you explicitly select.
This is an arithmetic tool, not a universal eligibility checker. Continue to the relevant exam page and verify the current bulletin before relying on a subject group.

Clear answers
The calculator adds the obtained marks for the included subjects, divides that total by the combined maximum marks and multiplies the result by 100.
PCM percentage uses Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics: total obtained marks in those three subjects divided by their combined maximum marks, multiplied by 100.
PCB percentage uses Physics, Chemistry and Biology: total obtained marks in those three subjects divided by their combined maximum marks, multiplied by 100.
