IIT JAM {{current-year}} Admission: Applications will start from September 10

IIT JAM 2026 Admission: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore will open the online registration window for admission to MSc (two years) programs at IITs, Joint MSc-PhD, MSc-PhD Dual Degree, and other postgraduate programs. Applications for the Integrated Ph.D. programs at IISc will also be accepted. Eligible candidates can apply online for the Joint Admission Test (JAM) for MSc from September 10 to October 15.

Candidates seeking admission to the Integrated Ph.D. Program in Physical Science, Chemical Science, Mathematical Science, and Biological Science at IISc Bengaluru will be shortlisted based on their JAM 2026 results. All details regarding JAM 2026, including eligibility criteria, the admission process, application dates, admit card, and results, are available on the official portal jam.iisc.ac.in.

The computer-based JAM 2026 will be conducted on February 14, 2026, in two shifts. According to the schedule released by IISc Bangalore, the results of IIT JAM 2026 will be declared on March 20, 2026.

As per the official website, all seven test papers for JAM 2026 will be completely objective. The exam will feature three types of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
