2. Occupational Therapy Professional medical treatment focuses on helping people achieve independence in all life areas. 3. Radiography Radiography involves diagnostic tests using radiation, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, and MRI. A radiographer works with the medical team.
Course: Science stream graduates can pursue B.Sc in radiography. Certificate and diploma courses are also available.
4. Medical Laboratory Technology Medical Laboratory Technology, also called Clinical Laboratory Science, involves diagnostics and disease-related tests. It covers Clinical Technologies, Microbiology, Blood Bank, and Immunology. Medical Lab Technologists perform routine tests under the guidance of technologists and supervisors.
5. Optometry This field studies the structure and function of the human eye. It involves testing initial symptoms, lens use, and other eye problems. Degree or diploma courses in optometry are available, including Bachelor of Clinical Optometry and Diploma in Ophthalmic Techniques.
