UPSEE {{current-year}}

UPSEE, or the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam, is a state-level examination organized by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). It's conducted annually to provide admission to eligible candidates into various undergraduate and postgraduate professional degree courses in engineering, technology, management, pharmacy, and other fields at affiliated colleges and institutes.

Previously known as the UPTU entrance exam, UPSEE is for candidates seeking admission to B.Tech, B.Pharma, B.Arch, Bachelor in Design, Hotel Management, MCA, MBA, and other programs in Uttar Pradesh institutions.

The UPSEE 2026 examination is scheduled for 21st April. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the application form online, which typically becomes available in January.

Eligibility for UPSEE 2026

All Indian citizens who meet the minimum educational criteria for their chosen course can apply online. Appearing candidates are also eligible. NRI/Foreign Nationals/PIO/Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries/Kashmiri Migrants can apply as well. There is no upper age limit. An Aadhaar card is mandatory for application.

Educational eligibility varies by course:

Course	Eligibility
B.Tech	Minimum 45% marks (40% for ST/SC) in 10+2 with Physics & Maths, plus one subject from Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
B.Tech (Bio-Technology)	Passed 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics or Biology, plus one from Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Technical Vocational subject.
B.Arch	Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics and one from Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology/Engineering Drawing/Technical Vocational subject.
B.Pharm	Passed 10+2 with Physics & Chemistry and one from Mathematics/Bio-Technology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject.
B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering)	Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Agriculture disciplines.
BHMCT/BFAD/BFA	Passed 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline.
MBA	Passed Bachelor's or equivalent degree.
MCA	Passed Bachelor's or equivalent degree & Mathematics at 10+2 or Graduation level.
