WBJEE 2026 Introduction
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is a state-level qualifying exam conducted annually for admission to various UG Engineering and Pharmacy programs offered by government and private colleges in West Bengal. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) administers the exam.
WBJEE 2026 was originally scheduled for May 19. However, due to a date conflict with JEE Advanced 2026, officials announced that a new date would be announced soon. The exam is conducted offline (OMR mode), but the application form is available online on the board's official website.
Online application forms for WBJEEB 2026 were available from December 26, 2018. Eligible candidates could complete their applications by January 22, 2019.

If Your WBJEE Rank is Low
If your WBJEE rank is not satisfactory and you need expert help, you can fill out a form for a Career Counselling session. This can guide you toward admission in top B.Tech colleges.
Students with low scores in WBJEE, UPSEE, JEE, and other engineering entrance exams can still gain admission to major engineering colleges and universities. Several well-known private colleges and universities recognized by the government across the country admit students through state government counselling processes or university-level counselling.
It's common for parents and first-time applicants to lack adequate comparative information about colleges and universities nationwide. Many also have limited information about the counselling process.
