CU Online’s public catalogue spans business, computing, communication, humanities and quantitative postgraduate degrees. The useful comparison is between the exact award and its current payment schedule, because “programme fee,” early-bird amount, annual instalment and semester instalment are not interchangeable. The fee pages reviewed on 1 November 2026 show meaningful inconsistencies, including different figures in the same BBA page and promotion dates that may have passed. Treat the figures below as a record of what the official pages displayed, not a guaranteed amount due for a new application.
The university currently displays three-year undergraduate options including BBA, BBA Business Analytics, BCA and BA Journalism and Mass Communication. The postgraduate catalogue includes a two-year MBA and MBA Business Analytics, MCA, MA Journalism and Mass Communication, MA English, MA Economics, MSc Data Science and MSc Mathematics. The UGC approval list hosted by the university names ten online degree titles for the July 2025 onward period; the site’s specialisation cards do not necessarily mean ten-plus separate approved award names. Check the exact degree title and intake against the live programme page and the approval notice before paying.
Within those awards, the site presents several specialisation paths. The BBA page lists options such as marketing, HR, entrepreneurship, business analytics, finance and supply chain; the MCA page describes AI and machine learning, agentic AI, cloud computing, full-stack development and data analytics; the MBA page advertises a larger set of management specialisations. This variety can help narrow a subject direction, but it also makes a precise comparison important: confirm whether the specialisation is part of the award, a track within the degree, or a separately named degree title. Ask how the selected track appears on the final transcript if that distinction matters to an employer or future university.
The live Online MBA page displays a base programme fee of ₹2,38,000 and an early-bird figure of ₹1,90,400, described there as a 20% reduction. It also shows annual payments of ₹95,200 over two years and semester payments across four semesters. The Online MCA page displays a ₹1,75,000 base fee and an early-bird figure of ₹1,31,250, described as a 25% reduction; its page shows annual and semester payment examples. Those are page-stated promotional figures, not a quote for a particular applicant’s intake. The relevant page should be rechecked on the day of application for current dates, eligibility and any other charges.
The Online BBA page illustrates why an advertised number should not be copied without context. Its main fee block shows ₹2,10,000 before an early-bird amount of ₹1,57,500, while the same page contains other BBA fee figures in its specialisation and FAQ material, including lower totals and different reduction percentages. The official page therefore does not support one unambiguous BBA total from the material reviewed. Applicants should ask for the fee schedule for their exact BBA variant and intake, including whether the selected specialisation changes the payable amount.
These examples should not be read as a price ranking across degrees. The MBA and MCA are two-year awards while the BBA is three years; their payment schedules also divide totals over different numbers of years or semesters. A lower instalment can reflect the payment interval rather than a lower total. Before comparing affordability, calculate the full scheduled amount for the whole degree and confirm whether the displayed number includes the promotion, registration or examination charges, and whether any financing arrangement adds separate terms.
The public pages describe annual and semester payment options, but the displayed promotional fee is conditional on a scholarship or early-bird offer. At the 1 November 2026 capture, CU Online’s home page still showed a 30 October 2026 early-bird closing date. That date had passed, so the banner cannot establish a live discount. Programme pages may also display offer text without a clear current end date. Do not assume the discounted total remains available merely because it is still visible.
For an accurate budget, save the current page or portal quotation for the exact programme, specialisation and intake; confirm the full programme fee, installment dates, mandatory one-time charges and refund terms; and verify whether a discount applies to your applicant category. If a page shows different totals in different sections, ask the admissions office to confirm the payable amount in writing before submitting payment. Keep that answer with the application acknowledgement and receipt.
The fee pages also mention flexible payment or financing. That wording does not by itself establish a loan approval, zero-cost finance or a universal scholarship. Treat a financing offer as a separate product: ask for the lender, interest or processing charges, repayment schedule and eligibility. Likewise, the university’s 2024-25 CIQA report refers to fee waivers or scholarships under applicable government instructions but does not provide a current CU Online award amount or a universal discount process. A general compliance statement is not proof that a specific applicant will receive aid.
The MBA page lists a bachelor’s degree in any discipline as its baseline and includes recognised professional qualifications among eligible backgrounds. MCA eligibility is more detailed: the current page distinguishes applicants with relevant computing or engineering degrees from graduates who need mathematics, business mathematics, programming or statistics at school or degree level. This is a practical example of why broad “postgraduate applicants need a bachelor’s degree” summaries are insufficient for course selection.
The BBA page gives a 10+2 or equivalent baseline. For each course, use the programme’s own eligibility section rather than applying the general FAQ across all awards. If your prior qualification, subject combination or international credential is unusual, request written confirmation before paying. Programme names and specialisation lists can change; verify the current catalogue and approval period for the particular intake.
Compare the exact degree title, normal duration, curriculum or specialisation, total scheduled fee and recognition information together. Then check whether each figure is a base price, a discounted price or one installment. Confirm the current offer end date and the exact conditions to receive it. Finally, save the official programme page and written fee confirmation. The figures published on the site are useful leads for comparison, but the conflicting BBA display and expired general promotion mean that a current, programme-specific quotation is the responsible basis for a payment decision.
