ISBM’s official catalogue uses several programme labels, including postgraduate programmes, graduate programmes, advanced diplomas, certificates and other course types. The durations shown on the homepage are examples attached to particular listings, not one standard length for the whole catalogue. For example, some postgraduate listings show 24 months regular or 12 months fast track; a graduate programme example shows 33 or 11 months; and an advanced diploma example shows 11 or 6 months.
Treat each pair as a choice to verify for the named course. A shorter option may change the study pace or completion requirements. The reviewed homepage examples do not establish that every course offers both tracks, what the assessment calendar looks like, or whether a fast-track route is available to every learner. Before enrolling, confirm the course’s exact title, level, mode, duration, start or intake date, completion rules and any extra charges in its current course page or written fee schedule.
ISBM describes correspondence courses on its homepage and says it offers online and distance learning in its FAQ. Confirm which delivery mode applies to your chosen course. Do not assume a course is campus-based or that every programme includes the same live classes, study materials or support.
The saved official pages do not provide a verified, current INR total for each named course in the catalogue. The general payment terms say payment is due in full before course access and that prices may change; they direct refund questions to a separate policy. That gives a payment rule, not a course-level price quote. The FAQ says instalment-based options may be available, but it does not establish that a particular programme qualifies or give a schedule.
For a comparable quote, ask the official admissions team to send a dated, course-specific fee schedule showing the exact programme and duration option. Get the total amount in INR and an itemized list of tuition, application or registration charges, examinations, learning materials, taxes if applicable, certificate or dispatch charges, and any optional services. Ask which payment dates apply and whether instalments change the total. The listed items are questions to resolve; the sources reviewed do not confirm that each charge is imposed.
Do not use an amount from a third-party course listing as a current ISBM fee unless ISBM confirms it for the course and intake. Before paying, compare the written schedule against the payment portal and save the version and date. If the amount changes, ask for the revised total and the reason before proceeding.
A useful comparison needs more than the headline fee. Put the regular and fast-track options side by side only when the official course page confirms both are available for the same programme. For each one, record the published duration, study mode, course access period, assessment or exam charges, payment schedule and conditions for completion. If these details are absent, mark them “not confirmed” rather than treating them as included.
Check what the duration measures. A listed 12-month fast-track option is not automatically equivalent in teaching time, assessment opportunities or support to a 24-month regular route. Ask how many assignments or examinations are required, when submissions can be made, what happens after a missed assessment and whether extension or re-registration fees apply. The homepage duration examples do not answer those course-specific questions.
For your own comparison, calculate the total confirmed charges for the full route, then separate one-time amounts from recurring or optional costs. Do not divide a course fee by months and call it an annual fee unless ISBM publishes that basis. This avoids comparing a one-time course price with another provider’s annual tuition or confusing a short completion option with a lower all-in cost.
There is a material difference between the current website policy and the older prospectus. The refund page says a learner who withdraws before a course begins may be eligible for a partial or full refund depending on timing, and that some registration or administrative fees may not be refundable. The prospectus dated 24 July 2025 says fees once paid will not be refunded or adjusted. These statements do not give one clear answer for every course or payment date.
Before paying, ask which version governs your programme and intake, how to request cancellation, what date starts the refund calculation, which amounts are excluded, and how long a refund takes. Keep the answer with your invoice and application record. Do not rely on an oral assurance if the written policy says something different.
The FAQ’s statement that instalments may be available is also general. Confirm the number and amount of instalments, due dates, any financing charge, the consequence of a missed payment and whether course access pauses. The payment terms say full payment precedes course access, so get written confirmation of how an instalment arrangement interacts with that condition.
Request one reply that answers these points for your exact course:
The best comparison is a dated fee schedule attached to the exact course and route, plus the policy that governs withdrawal. If ISBM cannot confirm an item, leave it out of the total and treat it as an unresolved cost rather than assuming it is free or included.
