IMT Nagpur scholarships for PGDM applicants
IMT Nagpur’s admissions page lists three forms of support: the Smt Leela Nath Memorial scholarship, the Merit scholarship and a Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme under AICTE rules. It says awards apply to the academic-fee component, and a student may receive only one scholarship. Do not combine two awards or calculate the percentage against the full programme total. Eligibility does not establish that a student automatically receives an award; use the institute’s decision and written offer. IMT Nagpur admissions
The dedicated fee page lists academic fee of ₹15,27,000 within the 2027-29 programme total. That is a useful reference for understanding the academic-fee basis, but scholarship rules and the individual award decision control. The admissions information does not promise that an award is available to every eligible applicant.
Named awards and stated score criteria
The Smt Leela Nath Memorial award is described as 20% of academic fee for female candidates in PGDM. The Merit scholarship is described as 40% of academic fee for candidates meeting the listed test criteria: CAT or XAT at 90 percentile or above, or GMAT at 700 on the 10th Edition scale or 645 on GMAT Focus. Keep the GMAT scales distinct; a score on one scale must not be assessed against the other scale’s threshold. IMT Nagpur admissions scholarship information
The page gives criteria but does not explain whether additional documents or a separate form are required, how many awards are available, or whether the score alone leads to an award. Ask the admissions office whether the rule applies to your exact programme and batch and what evidence must be submitted. Keep your official score report and written scholarship decision together.
Tuition Fee Waiver is a separate scheme
IMT lists a TFW scheme governed by AICTE rules for eligible and shortlisted candidates. The captured admissions page does not reproduce the full income conditions, document checklist, number of waiver seats or selection process. Do not assume TFW uses the same criteria as the two named awards, or that every applicant who appears eligible will receive a waiver. Check the current AICTE conditions referenced by IMT and ask which income certificate, supporting records and application timing apply to the 2027-29 batch. IMT Nagpur admissions
Before relying on a waiver, ask whether the decision is made before the first installment, what the decision changes in the payment schedule and whether a deposit or non-academic charge remains due. The public notice does not state that all programme charges are waived. Retain the current rules and the institute’s written decision.
Calculate the award against academic fee only
The fee schedule for batch 2027-29 lists academic fee of ₹15,27,000. On that base, a 20% award would equal ₹3,05,400 and a 40% award would equal ₹6,10,800. These are arithmetic illustrations, not confirmed awards, a cash refund, or a discount on the full ₹16 lakh total. The institute says only one scholarship may be received, so do not add the two percentages together. Admissions scholarships · Fee schedule
The fee page also lists admission fee, alumni life membership, a refundable caution deposit and hostel and food charges. The scholarship description does not say that these amounts are reduced. Unless the award letter states otherwise, keep calculations limited to the academic-fee line. Do not deduct a scholarship from a refundable deposit or other charge without written confirmation. Ask accounts for the revised installment amounts after the institute approves an award.
Before budgeting with scholarship support
Confirm the programme, batch, test name and score scale. Ask when the award decision is made, whether you need a separate form, and what documents are required. Request a written letter that states the award amount, academic-fee base, payment timing and continuation conditions. The captured page does not specify all those administrative details. Do not delay a required installment because you expect an award that has not been confirmed.
Keep the fee schedule, offer, award letter and payment receipts together. If you receive support, check how the reduced amount is allocated across the installments and whether it applies to amounts already paid or only future payments. If no award has been confirmed, plan using the published fee schedule without a hypothetical discount.
Scholarship rules and fee amounts can change by intake. This summary reflects official information captured for the 2027-29 admissions cycle. Recheck IMT’s current admissions and fee pages before submitting an application or accepting an offer. IMT Nagpur admissions
