IIIEM Admission 2027-28: Plans, Eligibility and How to Enquire
International Institute of Import & Export Management (IIIEM) presents its Ahmedabad programme as practical export-import training and business support, not as a conventional university degree. Its current site describes three options: Export Training Plan (ETP) for learning, Export Readiness Plan (ERP) for setting up an export business, and Export Growth Plan (EGP) for supported execution. The admission decision is therefore less about choosing a degree specialization and more about identifying what help you need, how you want to learn, and what the selected plan actually includes. This guide uses the official pages checked on 5 November 2026. They do not establish a confirmed 2027-28 intake calendar, so treat the year in this page as the planning context, not proof that a named batch is open.
Who can enquire, and what is the eligibility statement?
IIIEM’s current enquiry page says “No Prior Qualification Required.” It describes the plans for people who want to start or grow an export-import business, and lets a prospective learner select a plan while submitting an enquiry. The Ahmedabad programme page also lists online and offline learning. These are broad provider statements, not a regulator-approved admission rule for a degree. The pages reviewed do not set a Class 12 threshold, required subjects, age limit, entrance examination, cutoff score or category-wise seat rule. Applicants should not borrow such conditions from unrelated colleges or assume that a training certificate is equivalent to a university qualification.
The three plans reflect different stages. ETP is presented for beginners who want to learn processes and documentation. ERP is positioned for people ready to establish a business, with setup, research and documentation support. EGP adds a practical export-execution component and buyer or deal support. The plans page describes six weeks of practical export execution for EGP. Those labels help with an initial conversation, but they do not tell a reader whether each plan has a separate start date, fixed duration, assessment, certificate standard or prerequisite. Ask IIIEM to confirm the specific plan’s entry conditions and what completion means before paying.
Which plan fits your goal?
Start by separating learning from implementation. If you want to understand export procedures before committing to a business setup, ask whether ETP’s training, study material and student portal fit that purpose. The official comparison lists online or offline training, documents and samples, a certificate, 24 live iConnect Zoom sessions and daily iSupport calls for one year. Confirm whether those items are included in the exact ETP variant you are offered, and whether sessions are live, recorded or both. The public page does not provide a full dated curriculum or a guaranteed weekly timetable for each learner.
If you already have a product or business and need to prepare for exporting, ask ERP advisers to specify the work they will perform. The comparison refers to product trade statistics, buyer and supplier information, digital setup, export registration support and documentation. These are service descriptions, not a guarantee that a business will receive a licence, buyer order or completed registration. Ask which tasks are completed by IIIEM, which documents or government filings remain your responsibility, and whether third-party charges are separate.
EGP is described as the execution-oriented option. The current plans page lists six weeks of practical export execution, buyer research and deal support, buyer communication, follow-ups, negotiation and deal-closure guidance. Its “first five shipments” support language should be clarified in writing: whether it means assistance when shipments occur, what is included in that assistance, and whether the timeline depends on a learner finding a viable buyer. A support promise cannot by itself assure that a sale or shipment will result. Ask for the exact service scope, staff access and any conditions before choosing a higher plan.
Learning mode, schedule and application steps
The official pages offer online and offline learning. The enquiry FAQ lists three schedule choices: weekend classes on Saturday and Sunday, Sunday-only classes, and weekday classes. It also says lectures are available in Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi and other regional languages. These statements describe the provider’s options; the pages do not identify the next Ahmedabad batch dates or guarantee that each mode, language and schedule will run in every cycle. If you need a particular language, weekday or online format, check that an actual batch is confirmed before you plan around it.
The practical starting point is IIIEM’s free enquiry or consultation form. It asks for your name, phone, email, state and city, and lets you choose a plan. The contact page says an export expert can discuss a suitable plan and nearest batch; it lists the Ahmedabad head office at 201-202 Iscon Avenue, near Choice Restaurant, C.G. Road, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380009. An enquiry is a request for information, not a confirmed enrolment. After speaking with an adviser, ask for a dated written offer showing the plan name, batch, mode, schedule, start date, total fee, taxes, payment milestones, cancellation or refund terms and any third-party costs.
Do not treat the form’s “free” label as meaning the training itself is free. It describes the enquiry or consultation. The official pages reviewed do not publish a current plan-wise fee table or a 2027-28 application deadline. Before paying, request an invoice or formal fee schedule tied to the exact plan and batch, plus a written explanation of what happens if the batch is postponed or you withdraw. Do not rely on a phone quote alone for total cost or refund rights.
Verify support duration and certificate details
There is a material difference between the official pages about ongoing help. The plans comparison lists daily iSupport calls for one year, while the enquiry page describes i-Support as a lifetime doubt-clearing forum. The wording may refer to different kinds of support or page versions, but the public information does not reconcile them. Ask IIIEM to name the support channel, duration, response expectations and eligibility for the plan you are buying, and include the answer in your written offer.
The provider’s current pages mention a certificate but do not, in the material reviewed, identify an external awarding body, academic credit or equivalence to a university degree. If you need a credential for employment, higher education or a regulated role, ask who issues it, what assessment leads to it, and whether the receiving employer or institution recognises it. The official page’s placement-assistance and job-portal descriptions should also be read as services offered by the provider, not a verified job-placement rate or employment guarantee. For 2027-28, verify current dates, price, service scope and certificate terms directly with IIIEM before submitting payment.
