JIMS Jaipur's posted scholarship slabs
JIMS Jaipur's official scholarship page lists two separate sets of award slabs: one based on entrance-exam results and another based on school and graduation marks. It shows amounts of ₹50,000, ₹1,00,000 and ₹1,50,000 in each set. The page does not name a batch or say that these terms apply to the 2027-28 PGDM intake. Treat the figures below as the amounts currently displayed on the official Jaipur page, not as a confirmed offer for a future cycle. The page also carries the site's 2022 copyright footer, so ask JIMS to confirm that the scheme remains open before relying on it.
The published entrance-exam table reads:
The academic-record table reads:
These are transcriptions of the published thresholds. JIMS does not label the CAT/XAT percentages as percentile, marks or another score unit on the page. It also does not explain whether thresholds are overall or section-wise. MAT is shown as a score of 600, 700 or 750 and should not be treated as a percentage. Ask the admissions office to confirm the exact score metric and the exam edition it will accept for your application.
Confirm how the two tables work together
The scholarship page separates exam-result and academic-record tables, but it does not say whether an applicant may qualify under both, whether the amounts can be combined, or whether only one award is granted. It does not explain tie-breaking, allocation limits, number of awards, category rules or whether the listed amounts reduce tuition, are paid as a one-time grant, or apply separately in each year. Do not add the two amounts together or subtract them from the programme fee until JIMS confirms the award in writing for your offer and intake.
The official admission procedure says payment details are included in the admission letter. It does not link the scholarship tables to a dated fee schedule. Ask whether the award is credited before each instalment or reimbursed later, what happens if you withdraw, and whether it can be held with another concession or education loan. A scholarship's listed amount is not the same as a reduction in the quoted tuition unless the institute confirms how it is applied.
The admission procedure names CAT, MAT, XAT and CMAT, while the online registration page additionally lists ATMA. The scholarship table names CAT, XAT, CMAT and MAT only. If you apply with ATMA, ask separately whether that test is eligible for a scholarship; its appearance in an application-test list does not establish an award route. Confirm the permitted score year and result submission deadline for the exact PGDM batch.
Check your academic record carefully
The academic table gives three combined thresholds across Class 10, Class 12 and graduation. The page does not say whether it uses aggregate marks from the marksheets, how it converts CGPA or grades, or how it treats a board with a different maximum score. It also does not state whether final-year candidates may receive a provisional award, what document is needed to confirm graduation marks, or whether any failed/repeated subject affects calculation. Get the calculation method before assuming you qualify.
Keep the original marksheets, degree or provisional certificate, entrance scorecard, application ID and any written scholarship communication together. Send the admissions office the exact figures and grading scale from your records. Ask it to confirm which tier applies and whether any scholarship is conditional on admission, fee payment, academic performance or continued attendance. The public page does not set out renewal conditions or state that a later semester's marks change the award.
Questions to ask before budgeting
Before accepting an offer, request a dated scholarship notice or written confirmation that identifies the Jaipur PGDM intake. Ask for answers to these points:
- Are the displayed exam and academic slabs active for my intake year?
- Does “CAT/XAT 60%” mean percentile, marks or another measure, and which exam year counts?
- Can I qualify under both tables, and if so, can the awards be combined?
- Is the amount one-time or annual, and is it deducted from tuition or paid separately?
- What are the application deadline, documents, award cap and selection process?
- Are there continuation, attendance or academic-performance requirements?
- How does the scholarship interact with another concession, refund or education loan?
The JIMS Jaipur contact page lists [email protected] and +91-9829861716. Save the dated response and make sure it names the Sitapura Jaipur campus, the PGDM and the intended batch. JIMS also lists multiple Delhi campuses on its website, so do not rely on a scholarship notice for another JIMS location without explicit confirmation that it covers Jaipur.
The posted slabs offer a starting point for questions, but they do not establish a confirmed 2027-28 award or the amount you would ultimately pay. Until JIMS confirms the scheme terms, keep the tuition and scholarship credit separate in your budget. Do not subtract any award from total cost or assume renewability based on these tables alone.
