Masters’ Union Admission 2027: PGP TBM and Young Leaders Cohort
Masters’ Union’s current Round 2 admissions are for its full-time PGP in Technology and Business Management (PGP TBM) and the Young Leaders Cohort (YLC), both based in Gurugram and scheduled to commence in June 2027. The two paths share a curriculum and application route but suit different experience levels: PGP TBM is 16 months and requires more than one year of pre-MBA full-time experience; YLC is 24 months for final-year students and applicants with up to 11 months of experience. The official FAQ describes the award as a PGP TBM certificate, so applicants should not treat this programme as an MBA degree. (programme page, official FAQ)
Choose the pathway that matches your experience
The current admissions page names PGP TBM as Cohort ’28, with a 16-month duration, and YLC as Cohort ’29, with a 24-month duration. Both are full-time in Gurugram and are shown as commencing in June 2027. For the flagship PGP TBM, the page says applicants need at least one year of full-time work experience; it gives 2–5 years as the typical range, not a hard upper bound. YLC is for final-year students or people with 0–11 months of full-time experience. Masters’ Union calculates experience from the start date of the first full-time role to the planned last working day entered in the application, which must be before the programme begins.
The school says the two pathways share programme content and pedagogy, while YLC extends the programme and includes a mandatory three-month internship. Its comparison table lists 120 total in-class and out-class credits for PGP TBM and 200 for YLC; internships are non-mandatory in the former and mandatory in the latter. The published page describes both as postgraduate programmes and the FAQ says graduates receive the PGP TBM certificate. Confirm the exact credential and cohort in the official offer documents. Apply by the Round 2 deadline
As of 6 November 2026, the school’s Round 2 page says applications close on 27 November 2026 at 11:59 p.m. The application asks for academic, professional and personal profile information. Start it at the official PGP TBM application page, and check the deadline shown in the live form before submitting. Keep your application confirmation and the exact programme pathway you selected; do not rely on an older social post or a third-party calendar for current dates.
The selection sequence is application, one assessment route, interview if shortlisted, then an admission, scholarship or waitlist decision. The official page describes the interview window, 10–24 December 2026, and decision window, 8–9 January 2027, as indicative. It marks the other Round 2 dates as fixed. A fixed published date is still subject to a later official notice, so return to the admissions page before making travel or payment arrangements.
Choose one assessment route, not several compulsory tests
Applicants can submit a listed entrance-test score or take the university’s online MU-BAAT assessment. A valid CAT score from 2023, 2024 or 2025, or a GMAT or GMAT Focus score from 2024, 2025 or 2026, is stated to waive MU-BAAT. The page places GRE scores from 2024–2026 and XAT, NMAT, CMAT or SNAP scores from 2023–2025 in a different category: the Admissions Committee reviews these and tells the applicant within 48 hours of completing the application whether MU-BAAT is also required. Other recognised management examinations may be considered at the committee’s discretion, but the page does not promise automatic exemption for them.
If you have no valid listed score, or are asked to complete the school assessment, the Round 2 MU-BAAT window is 28 November to 6 December 2026. It is an online, video-based assessment that can be taken from home; the admissions page describes it as 45–60 minutes, with nine questions across five sections and no additional fee. Applicants may also voluntarily take it if they believe their submitted score does not represent their ability. Follow the current application portal’s instructions for booking and completing the assessment; do not assume a test score removes the interview stage.
Shortlisted applicants interview with faculty members and industry leaders who teach the programme. The page does not give a separate interview format or an interview guarantee for every applicant. Wait for the individual invitation and follow its timing and instructions. (accepted tests and assessment stages)
Round 2 dates and payment sequence
The admissions page also lists an optional campus experience on 16–17 January 2027 for Round 2 offer holders. It says attendance does not affect admission or scholarship decisions. It lists a ₹500 application fee, tuition of ₹37,66,692 before scholarship and benefit, and a total programme fee of ₹38,56,692 including admission and tuition. The displayed fee summary does not separately label a different total for the two pathways; use your offer letter and official payment schedule to confirm the amount for your selected cohort. Hostel is optional and priced separately: the same page lists ₹5,25,000 for 12 months in single occupancy and ₹3,35,000 for 12 months in twin sharing, subject to availability and allocation. Those hostel prices are shown for YLC and should not be added to tuition without checking your actual accommodation period.
Every applicant is considered for applicable scholarships through the application; the school says no separate scholarship form is required and decisions are communicated with the offer. It advertises awards of up to 100%, but the admissions committee decides eligibility and amount. The further 7.5% early-bird benefit is calculated after scholarship, not on the original tuition amount. For example, the page illustrates that a 25% scholarship followed by this benefit produces an approximate 30.5% effective reduction. Financing is described as available up to 100% of education cost, subject to the lender’s independent approval; it is not a guaranteed award or a fee reduction. (Round 2 schedule and fees)
Before you submit
Use the current application portal and select the pathway matching your experience at programme start. Prepare accurate academic and employment information, including the dates needed to calculate full-time experience. If you submit GRE, XAT, NMAT, CMAT or SNAP, leave time for committee review and a possible MU-BAAT requirement. Do not book travel around the indicative interview and decision windows until you receive an individual schedule.
Before paying, reconcile the offer letter against the published ₹90,000 admission fee, tuition, scholarship decision, early-bird eligibility and any separate hostel charge. Confirm the programme title, cohort year, commencement date, award wording and payment deadlines in writing. The official site’s PGP TBM FAQ describes the credential as a PGP TBM certificate; its admissions labels and marketing references should not be read as confirmation of an MBA degree. If a later official notice changes a date, accepted test year, fee or credential statement, follow that notice and retain the version relevant to your application.
