The Department of Science and Technology confirmed that the KVPY examination was subsumed into INSPIRE-SHE in July 2022. There is no KVPY examination or application cycle for 2026. Old KVPY exam dates, fees and preparation advice should not be used to plan a new application.
For current science scholarship eligibility and applications, use the official INSPIRE portal and read its current Scholarship for Higher Education instructions. The successor selection process is different from the old KVPY aptitude examination. Do not pay anyone claiming to offer KVPY registration.
Students who already hold a KVPY fellowship should use the INSPIRE portal's KVPY fellow guidance for their existing award and renewal questions. This historical page explains the change; it is not a live application form.
