Estimate the full cost of a college degree across tuition, annual fee increases, hostel, living costs, travel, scholarships and family contribution.
Direct answer
Enter annual and monthly costs, then subtract scholarships and family contribution. The result shows each year of the degree and the remaining amount that may need funding.
Start with the editable example below, then calculate the full degree cost, yearly fee growth and the amount your family still needs to fund.
How it works
Tuition is projected one year at a time using the annual increase you enter. Hostel, travel, books and devices are added annually, while monthly living costs are multiplied by 12. One-time deposits are included in year one.
The total scholarship and family contribution are deductions, not income projections. If deductions exceed the estimated degree cost, the funding gap stops at zero.
After calculating the gap, continue to the education-loan repayment calculator to test the cost of borrowing it.

No college fee is supplied by Admission Guardian in this calculator. Use official fee notices, hostel schedules and your own realistic living-cost assumptions, then save separate scenarios for the colleges you are comparing.
Clear answers
Include tuition, expected annual fee increases, hostel or rent, monthly living costs, travel, books and devices, one-time deposits and other recurring expenses you expect to pay.
It applies the entered percentage to the previous year's tuition and rounds each annual amount to the nearest paise before adding the remaining costs.
The scholarship total is subtracted from the full degree cost first. The family contribution is then subtracted to show the remaining amount that may need funding.

No. This version uses only the figures you enter, so it never invents a college fee. Use the college's current official fee notice when available.
