Earn While Learn in Malaysia

Earn While Learn in Malaysia counseling has started for the November intake. This program offers a one-year Diploma in Hospitality Management. It's a unique Earn While Learn model: one month of study followed by eleven months of paid internship.
Students gain practical training and direct exposure to the hospitality industry. The program is economically sustainable, with a guaranteed on-job training placement for every trainee. You'll learn all aspects of hotel management, including housekeeping, F&B operations, bar operations, and kitchen assistance.
The program completes in two stages.
Stage 1 (First Month): You'll have 3 to 5 hours of study each day, Monday to Friday. These are theory classes in a classroom setting.
Stage 2 (Next 11 Months): After successfully completing the classes, you'll be placed for on-job practical training for 9 to 11 months. During this period, you'll receive a monthly allowance of RM 1200 to RM 1400, plus on-duty meals and accommodation.
Malaysia's official language is Malaysian, with English as its second most spoken language. Colloquially, you'll hear Manglish, which is English influenced by Tamil, Malay, and Chinese.
What next? Upon completion of the first year, students will receive:
- A Food & Beverage Certificate from SKY International Academy Malaysia.
- A Certificate from the American Hospitality Academy US.
- A Hospitality English certificate from SKY International Academy.
- Practical work experience and a certificate.
After Year 1, students have several choices:
- Convert their internship to full-time employment and attain a work permit (at the employer's discretion).
- Join the advanced program to continue their internship.
- Seek employment within the SKY network in Southeast Asia.
Course Fee: The total course fee is RM 12,300. This includes visa, school fees, certification fees, and placement charges. It does not include the pre-medical test in India, embassy charges in India, or airfare.
