IIT Kharagpur will conduct JEE Advanced Exam 2021
IIT Kharagpur will conduct the JEE Advanced Exam 2021 this year. Last year, IIT Delhi conducted the exam, in which around 2.45 lakh students qualified. The examination schedule has been altered this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Typically, the JEE Advanced exam is conducted a few weeks after the JEE Main results, but major changes have been made this year.
IIT Eligibility Criteria changed due to Corona
Admission to Bachelor's degree courses at IITs is based on the ranking in the JEE Advanced Examination. However, schools remained closed for several months this time due to the Corona epidemic. Because of this, many central and state boards, including CBSE, have reduced the syllabus by up to 30 percent for board exams. Students preparing for JEE have also been significantly affected this year due to Corona. They have been demanding concessions from the Education Minister through social media. Considering all these factors, the Education Minister has changed the eligibility criterion.
JEE Advanced Exam 2021 will be held 4 times a year
This time, the JEE Mains exam will be held four times a year. The exam will be conducted in February, March, April, and May. A candidate can appear for all four examinations. This means a candidate will get four attempts in a year.
