The process for filling the JEE Main Entrance Exam form has started. The online application window will remain open until January 16, 2021. Candidates should keep several key points in mind before applying, as the National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced significant changes to the online application process this year. Avoiding mistakes is crucial.
A major change for 2021 is the language of the exam. Previously, JEE Main was conducted only in English. Now, NTA has decided to offer the exam in 12 regional languages. These include Hindi, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu. Students must carefully select their preferred regional language option while filling out the form. The availability of exam centers varies by language:
Until 2020, the JEE Main exam was conducted twice a year, with separate application forms for each session. This year, students have a new option. They can fill out the online application form for all four sessions-or any combination of them-simultaneously. The sessions are scheduled for February, March, April, and May. If a student is unable to attend a session, the fees for that session will be refunded.
