The B.Ed admission process for Haryana is now open, with approximately 60,000 seats available across 450 education colleges.
C R S U Jind Announces Admission in 2-year B.Ed Course
The Government of Haryana has designated Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University (CRSU) in Jind as the competent authority for online admissions to the B.Ed Regular Course for the session 2026-{{current-year|plus:1}}. To start the process, students can download the detailed prospectus from the university website: www.crsu.ac.in, or from the dedicated portals http://www.hrybed.in and http://www.hrybed.net.
Eligibility for B.Ed from Haryana
Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in either a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized university. If a candidate holds a Master's degree, the higher percentage from either the undergraduate or postgraduate degree will be considered for the merit list. A one-year PG diploma is not considered equivalent to a Master's degree. There is no upper age limit for application.
Relaxations:
- SC/ST candidates from Haryana require 47.5% marks.
- Physically Handicapped/Blind/Visually/Hearing Impaired candidates also require 47.5% marks.
Important Notes:
- Marks will not be rounded off (e.g., 49.5% will not become 50%).
- Candidates appearing in compartmental exams are not eligible for admission.
Division of Seats
Seats in each college are divided into two groups:
- Group-I (50%): Reserved for Science & Arts with Maths students.
- Group-II (50%): Reserved for Arts & Commerce Group students.
Vacant seats in one group may be converted to the other group, following category-specific rules.
Reservations
In Government, Government-Aided, and University-Maintained colleges, seats are reserved as follows:
- Scheduled Castes: 20%
- Backward Classes (A): 16%
- Backward Classes (B): 11%
- General Category Economically Backward: 10%
- Candidates with Disability: As per government norms
