If you want to pursue an MD or MS, fill out the form below. We will call you with details.
What is MD?
MD stands for Doctor of Medicine, derived from the Latin term 'Medicinae Doctor,' meaning Teacher of Medicine. It is the highest academic degree in medicine. MBBS degree holders pursue this to gain distinction in medicine and surgery.
The Doctor of Medicine course lasts three years. It includes both theoretical and practical elements, culminating in a final examination held after six academic semesters. The MD course is more practical and research-based than the MBBS. The Medical Council of India approves institutions to offer this degree.
Because the course involves intensive study, you need to be prepared for challenging material. Many pursue it for the high salary potential.
