The latest detailed notice covers the 2026-27 intake
For prospective B.Tech applicants, Andhra University’s College of Engineering (AUCE) has more than one admission stream. The College’s 2025-26 first-year circular records students admitted through both EAPCET and AUEET. The latest detailed notice in the official record opened for this page is the Directorate of Admissions’ AUEET-2026 brochure, which is specifically for five self-supported B.Tech programmes in 2026-27. It does not establish the next 2027-28 schedule, eligibility wording, seat matrix or fee table. Treat the dates and seat numbers below as historical cycle information, then use the Directorate portal and the relevant state counselling portal for the new intake.
The distinction matters. AUEET is the University’s own entrance route for the self-supported course list in the 2026-27 brochure. EAPCET is the Andhra Pradesh common entrance test. The 2025-26 AUCE circular confirms that both streams were used at the College in that academic year, but the 2026 AUEET notice does not set out the regular EAPCET seat matrix. Applicants should not read the AUEET course list as the full AUCE programme intake or assume that every regular seat follows the AUEET process. Check the current course and counselling notices for the programme and seat type you want.
AUEET-2026 self-supported course list
The 2026 brochure lists these self-supported B.Tech seats at AUCE:
These figures sum to 690 seats across the five entries in the brochure’s self-support table. That is a calculation from that table, not a confirmed total for all AUCE B.Tech programmes, all categories or a later intake. The brochure also says a minimum of 10 candidates must join for a self-support course to run, and reserves the University’s right not to run a course or fill its seats. The published capacity should therefore be read with those conditions, rather than as a guarantee that every listed option will be offered in every cycle.
For all five listed courses, the brochure specifies 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and at least 45% marks, reduced to 40% for candidates in reserved categories. This is the 2026 self-support brochure’s entry rule. Candidates should verify the exact qualifying-exam and category conditions in the notice for their own admission year; the rule should not be carried forward as a 2027-28 confirmation.
What the 2026 AUEET process required
For that cycle, applications were submitted online through the Directorate of Admissions. The schedule opened applications on 13 March 2026, set 30 April as the regular deadline and allowed applications with a late fee through 5 May. The entrance test was scheduled offline for 10 May, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at seven listed centres: Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Rajamahendravaram, Vijayawada, Guntur and Tirupati. The Directorate’s schedule placed results on 14 May. The portal provides links for rank cards, allotment letters, seat status and fee payment. These dates have passed and are useful only as the sequence used in the 2026 cycle.
The brochure set the 2026 application and processing fee at ₹1,200, or ₹1,000 for SC, ST and PwD applicants, plus applicable bank charges. It asked applicants to have their qualifying-exam hall-ticket number, marks and passing year, date of birth, category or special-category details, and local-status study or residence proof ready. After submission, candidates were told to verify their details and keep the generated application number and hall ticket. The notice says that category or community changes cannot be made after the submitted application is received, so applicants should check each entry before paying and submitting.
The model paper in the 2026 brochure states a 90-minute test with a maximum of 100 marks. It presents Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry parts, and the 2026 schedule independently lists a 90-minute test window. The brochure calls for a candidate-specific OMR sheet and says calculators, phones, books and other calculating aids are not allowed. It also cautions candidates to arrive at least half an hour before the test and says entry is not permitted without the hall ticket or after the test begins. Use the next cycle’s official information booklet for the applicable format and permitted materials.
Rank, reservation and allotment are separate checks
The 2026 brochure says AUEET rank is assigned from test marks and admission is based on that rank together with course eligibility and the applicable reservation rules. The model’s tie-break sequence uses Part A marks, then Part B and Part C, and finally date of birth with older candidates preferred. The Directorate portal provides links for rank cards, allotment letters, seat status and fee payment. A rank alone is not an admission offer: applicants also need to meet eligibility, complete the counselling or verification steps and satisfy the seat’s reservation conditions.
For the 2026 self-support route, the brochure reserves 85% of seats in each course and category for local candidates of the Andhra University area as defined in the notice. It sets out study or residence tests for local status and lists conditions for the remaining 15% of seats. The detailed rules are tied to the stated local areas, qualifying-exam period and supporting certificates. Applicants whose local status is not obvious should read the official clause and obtain the prescribed study or residence proof, rather than infer eligibility from current address alone. The 2026 notice also requires rank card, hall ticket, qualifying-exam records, transfer and conduct certificates, date-of-birth proof, applicable local and community certificates, and documents for claimed special categories; original documents are checked after provisional allotment.
Self-supported admission has cost and accommodation conditions that affect the choice. The brochure states that these students are not entitled to fee reimbursement or scholarships under that mode, and says hostel places are limited; self-support students are considered only after regular-category students and subject to availability. It also notes that course-specific study or field-work fees may apply, alongside listed special and one-time charges. These are reasons to review the full cycle fee schedule and hostel conditions before selecting the route. The current 2026 figures belong on the Courses & Fees page and should not be used as a future-year quote.
How to check the next intake
No 2027-28 AUEET or AUCE counselling schedule was verified for this page. Start with Andhra University’s Directorate of Admissions portal for the next AUEET notice, course list, application dates, result and counselling steps. For regular EAPCET seats, check APSCHE’s official test and counselling notices and confirm that the AUCE course appears in that year’s seat matrix. Compare the programme name, mode, category, local status and fee schedule before applying; the AUEET brochure is explicitly a self-support document, while the College’s earlier orientation records separate EAPCET and AUEET cohorts. If the new year’s notice changes a date or rule, follow the new notice rather than this historical cycle summary.
