Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) offers financial aid through admission merit scholarships, academic performance awards, and female-specific grants. The institute also facilitates education loans through banking partners.
BIMTECH awards the Late Basant Kumar Birla Admission Merit Scholarship as a partial tuition fee waiver. It is available to all candidates admitted through the merit category, regardless of their chosen PGDM programme. The scholarship is based strictly on CAT or XAT percentiles and is adjusted against the tuition fee for the fifth and sixth terms.
The Pujya Sh. G.D. Birla Academic Merit Scholarships reward top-performing students across all programmes (PGDM, PGDM-IB, PGDM-RM, and PGDM-IBM) during terms one through four.
Eligibility Conditions: Students must maintain a clean academic and disciplinary record. The scholarship is forfeit if a student uses unfair means in examinations, takes a supplementary exam, or faces a serious misconduct case. The total accumulated amount is disbursed via bank transfer within 15 days of the Term VI results declaration.
Through the Madhuri & Jagdish Sheth Endowment and the Late Sarala Birla Award, BIMTECH offers specific grants for doctoral research and female scholars:
BIMTECH recognizes top graduates during the annual convocation:
BIMTECH does not directly arrange loans but has tie-ups for priority processing with several financial institutions. Candidates can apply for education loans through State Bank of India, Axis Bank, HDFC Credila, IDFC FIRST Bank, Bank of Baroda, Yes Bank, and Kuhoo (an online student loan platform). Admitted candidates must independently fulfil the bank's documentation and eligibility requirements.
