First confirm the college and awarding university
The admissions material here applies to CIMAGE Professional College (CPC), the Vivekanand Marg campus near Boring Road in Patna, affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU). CIMAGE is also a group name. Its S.K. Puri institution is associated with Patliputra University, while its Centre of Digital Technology & Entrepreneurship at Atal Path is a separate unit. Their programmes, fees and admission notices are not interchangeable with CPC's. The CPC course pages identify BCA, BBA and B.Com (Professional); the group affiliations page lists separate institutions.
AKU's 18 September 2025 order grants permanent affiliation to CPC from the 2025-26 session for BCA, BBA and B.Com (Professional). It records intakes of 420, 360 and 60 seats respectively. This is a regulatory intake record for the named session, not confirmation of current vacancies or a promise of admission in a later year. Begin with the CPC-specific application link and confirm the current session, course and campus before paying or submitting documents.
Check the course requirement before applying
CPC lists three full-time undergraduate options, each described as a three-year, six-semester programme. Their subject focus and eligibility are different enough that applicants should choose the programme first rather than treating a generic CIMAGE application as a common admission route.
The BCA page describes computer science, software development and IT as its core areas and says any stream may apply. The BBA page lists a 50% minimum and highlights management, finance and marketing. The B.Com (Professional) page lists accounting, finance, taxation, business law, e-commerce and management. These pages are useful for initial fit, but a course summary is not a substitute for the current admission notice or AKU's governing eligibility rules.
If you are undecided, compare the work you want to do: BCA is the technology-oriented choice; BBA is management-focused; B.Com (Professional) is commerce and accounting-oriented. CPC also lists add-on training, but these certifications do not replace the university degree or alter the published eligibility requirement.
Application steps and what remains unverified
CPC's Admission Notification – 2026 states that admissions for the 2026 session are open, academic classes have commenced, and direct admissions against remaining vacant seats in various courses are ongoing under applicable regulatory norms and eligibility criteria. It directs candidates to the online application and invites them to contact the college about course availability, eligibility and procedure. This notice was retrieved on 2026-11-01 and applies to the 2026 session only; it does not establish 2027-28 application dates or steps. It does not state a closing date, application fee, seat-allocation method, interview requirement, entrance-test syllabus or selection formula.
Use this sequence to avoid applying under the wrong unit or cycle:
- Use the application link in the CPC Admission Notification – 2026 and confirm that the form names CIMAGE Professional College, AKU and your intended course. A group-level or CCDTE form is not sufficient.
- For the 2026 session, contact CPC to confirm course availability, eligibility and procedure before applying; the notice does not provide a closing date or detailed selection rules. For a later session such as 2027-28, request a new official notice rather than carrying forward the 2026 status.
- Confirm the course-specific eligibility line, required marks calculation, document list, entrance or interview stages, merit process, seat availability and refund rules before paying. The official course pages currently show eligibility summaries, not a complete selection policy.
- Save the notice, application acknowledgement, fee receipt and any written clarification. Compare the named campus and awarding university across each document.
The 2026 notice lists +91 9334206364 and the address 2nd House, Vivekanand Marg, Boring Road, in front of AN College, North Sri Krishna Puri, Patna – 800013. The CPC site also lists +91 98350 24444 and [email protected]. Verify that any later notice and payment instructions come from CPC; do not rely on an old saved form or an informal social-media post.
Read intake figures with their year and regulator attached
The AKU affiliation order dated 18 September 2025 lists CPC's permanent affiliation from 2025-26 and approved course intakes of BCA 420, BBA 360 and B.Com (Professional) 60. The combined 840 seats are the sum of those three programme figures in that order. They are not a live vacancy count or an admission target for 2027-28.
CPC's AICTE approval page reports an Extension of Approval for 2026-27 with BBA intake 360 and BCA intake 420. Its published table does not list B.Com (Professional) in that AICTE intake statement. Use the AKU order for the university-affiliation scope and the AICTE page for its narrower approval scope; do not extend the AICTE table to B.Com or treat either source as a live vacancy list. The AKU order also states that the affiliation is subject to conditions, including state-government approval.
The CPC pages state that the college is NAAC B++ accredited and affiliated with AKU. Those institutional credentials do not by themselves establish a student's eligibility, selection rank or admission guarantee. Admission still depends on the current notice, the applicable authority's rules and the college's available seats.
Before you submit or pay
Prepare a basic file with your Class 10 and 12 marksheets or results, identity and contact details, recent photograph, and any category or domicile certificate that the current CPC notice specifically requests. This is a planning list, not a verified CPC document mandate: obtain the current official checklist before submitting originals or paying a fee. Ask whether provisional Class 12 results are accepted, how name or date-of-birth mismatches should be corrected, and whether the college needs migration or transfer documents at application or only after selection.
Before making a payment, confirm all of the following in the same current-cycle notice or written response: the exact campus and university; programme title; eligibility and marks formula; application and admission dates; test/interview or merit stages; seat status; every payment component and due date; refund/cancellation terms; and the official receipt process. Keep tuition and one-time charges separate when comparing offers. The CPC fee page publishes fee information for its programmes, but the amount and schedule should be checked against the session named on your own admission offer.
If a representative quotes a different course, campus, fee or deadline, ask for the college notice or university document supporting it. Do not rely on a broad CIMAGE group advertisement to settle a CPC admission question. If the portal is unavailable, contact CPC at [email protected] or +91 98350 24444 and request the official current-cycle application URL. Until CPC publishes a complete 2027-28 notice, its application dates and selection rules for that cycle remain unconfirmed.
