Financial support at FMS Delhi: the current University scheme
The latest University of Delhi financial-support notice reviewed here is for 2026-27. It is a University-wide scheme for full-time bona fide students in undergraduate or postgraduate programmes at a University department, institute or centre. FMS is a University department, and its MBA (Full-Time) is a full-time postgraduate programme. The notice does not list FMS among its excluded groups, but applicants should confirm their individual eligibility with the Dean Students’ Welfare office before relying on a waiver.
The current notice gives two family-income bands. Category I covers annual family income up to ₹4 lakh and provides a 100% fee waiver, limited to the actual fee or ₹15,000, whichever is lower. Category II covers income from ₹4,00,001 to ₹8 lakh and provides a 50% waiver, limited to the actual fee or ₹10,000. These are scheme caps, not cash awards or a promise that the full programme fee will be waived. The source does not provide an FMS-specific calculation of eligible fee components, so ask the DSW office how the cap is applied to the current FMS fee receipt.
The 2026-27 poster says students with an Essential Repeat in any previous examination are not eligible. It also excludes students enrolled in colleges, B.Tech programmes other than CIC, the five-year integrated law programme, School of Open Learning and NCWEB. The poster describes eligibility for bona fide full-time students in University departments, institutes and centres; the MBA (Full-Time) fits that stated programme type, subject to the rest of the scheme rules and the applicant’s documents.
Application and document submission are separate steps
The poster sets 23 October 2026 as the extended final date for the online application. A later DSW notice dated 26 October is narrower: it invites students who successfully uploaded all required documents to submit original documents at the Multipurpose Hall, Gate 2, University of Delhi. It schedules those submissions from 2 to 5 November 2026 by the serial number in the uploaded list. The document window does not say that online applications have reopened.
Check the current notice and your own serial number before travelling. The schedule assigns reporting times at 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. across the four dates. The notice requires documents already verified and recommended by the Head or Director of the department, centre or institute. If your uploaded-list number or reporting slot is unclear, contact the DSW office rather than choosing a time from another student’s range.
The 2026-27 poster lists these documents: a valid EWS/OBC-NCL or competent-authority annual income certificate for 2025-26; the specified family members’ income-tax returns, if filed; the DSW undertaking; a bona fide certificate signed by the Head or Director; the latest examination marksheet; the latest fee receipt; and a bank document showing an account in the student’s own name. It says a notarised income certificate and an income certificate issued in the student’s own name will not be accepted. Read the live DSW instructions and prescribed formats before submitting originals, because document requirements can change between sessions.
FMS-specific University awards need a current-cycle check
The University’s scholarship index for 2025-26 lists a Shri G.L. Mehta Memorial Book-Grant for “MBA (Full Time)” under FMS and a G.L. Mehta Memorial Scholarship for “MBA” under F.M.S. That older index establishes that the University listed these named awards against FMS programmes in that session. It does not establish that either award is open in 2026-27 or 2027-28, the award amount, selection rules, or whether a current student can combine it with another scheme. Treat the entries as leads to verify with FMS and the DU Scholarship Cell, not as confirmed funding for a new applicant.
For a current decision, start with the DU Dean Students’ Welfare FSS notice and documents, then read the 2026-27 scheme poster and the document-submission schedule. The University scholarship index is useful for older award listings. The evidence reviewed here supports 2026-27 FSS terms and a 2025-26 FMS award listing; it does not establish a 2027-28 scholarship cycle or current FMS-specific award terms.
