The AIIMS Paramedical exam (B.Sc. Allied & Health Care courses) is a national-level computer-based test conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, for admission to its undergraduate paramedical programs across multiple campuses. Around 300 seats are available annually for courses in Medical Laboratory Technology, Radiography, Operation Theatre Technology, Optometry, Anaesthesia Technology, and more. You must apply separately; NEET scores are not accepted for these courses. The exam is your only entry point, so missing a deadline means waiting another year. The application process uses PAAR (Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration) and demands meticulous attention to document uploads. The test itself is 90 minutes long with 90 MCQs from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics, with negative marking. Competition is intense—over 15,000 candidates appeared in 2025 for fewer than 300 seats. If you’re serious about a career in allied healthcare from a premier institution, this is the exam to target.
