CTET result 2026 current status
The wording matters. By the end of October 2026 is CBSE's tentative window, not a confirmed declaration date. Any website naming an exact day or hour before CBSE issues a notice is making a prediction, not reporting an official schedule.
Official CTET result destinations
There is no verified September 2026 direct result page yet. These are the official places to watch:
A result link should be treated as official only after it is published by CBSE through one of these destinations. A search result, coaching-site post, social-media message or shortened URL is not enough. Admission Guardian will add a direct link only after opening and verifying the official destination.
Prepare now without guessing the login process
CBSE has not published the September 2026 result login screen or confirmed which fields it will request. Previous-cycle habits should not be presented as instructions for this cycle. Candidates can still prepare safely:
- Keep the CTET September 2026 confirmation page, application record and admit card together. They contain the candidate details that can be checked against an official result page.
- Note the application number and roll number if those identifiers appear on your official documents. This does not mean both will be required for result access.
- Check that your name, date of birth and other personal details are consistent across the documents you submitted or received from CBSE.
- Use a device that can open and save a PDF. Keep enough storage for the scorecard and a backup copy.

How to check safely after CBSE publishes the result
The exact September 2026 access steps cannot be written until the official result form exists. Once CBSE releases it, use this safe sequence:
- Start at the official CTET website or CBSE results hub.
- Open the link that explicitly names the CTET September 2026 result. Check the cycle before entering any details.
- Read the official field labels. Enter only the information the CBSE page requests, using the same details shown on your official CTET records.
- Review the displayed candidate identity, paper and marks before saving the record.
- Download the scorecard or use the official print option if either is provided. Save an unchanged copy and a second backup.

CTET scorecard fields to verify
CBSE has not published the September 2026 scorecard layout. The final record may contain some or all of the fields below, and the labels may differ. Check the fields shown on the scorecard rather than assuming a missing field should be present.
Save the original file before making a print copy. If an identity field appears wrong, preserve the scorecard and compare it with your confirmation page and admit card. Use only the contact or correction route published by CTET or CBSE for this result cycle. No September 2026 result-discrepancy process has been announced yet.
How to interpret the CTET result
The CTET September 2026 Information Bulletin says a person who scores 60% or more in TET will be considered TET pass. Each paper is marked out of 150, so 60% equals 90 marks. This is the displayed benchmark for Paper I and Paper II.
Do not publish or rely on 82 marks, 82.5 marks or 55% as a universal reserved-category CTET cutoff. The current bulletin does not state that rule. A relaxation in the educational qualification for appearing in CTET is also not an automatic reduction in the CTET pass benchmark.

CTET certificate validity
A CTET qualifying certificate is valid for life for all categories. The current bulletin and CBSE's lifetime-validity notice support this rule. There is also no restriction on the number of CTET attempts, and a qualified candidate may appear again to improve the score.
The September 2026 bulletin says CBSE will provide marksheets to all candidates and eligibility certificates to successful candidates in digital format through DigiLocker. The records will be digitally signed and will carry an encrypted QR code that can be checked with the DigiLocker mobile app. The bulletin says account credentials will be sent to the mobile number registered with CBSE. The lifetime-validity rule can also be checked in the CBSE notice on the validity period of TET qualifying certificates.
Keep the scorecard even after receiving a qualifying certificate. A recruiting or appointing authority may ask to verify original records and other eligibility documents under its own notice.
How to download the CTET certificate from DigiLocker
CBSE says it will place the September 2026 marksheets and qualifying certificates in DigiLocker. The bulletin does not publish a separate certificate-release date, so these steps apply after CBSE makes the current-cycle record available.
- Wait for the CTET result and the current-cycle DigiLocker availability. Do not use a message from a third party as proof that the certificate has been issued.
- Check the mobile number registered in the CTET application. The bulletin says CBSE will send DigiLocker account credentials to that number for present candidates.
- Open the official DigiLocker website or its official mobile app. Do not enter credentials on a lookalike site or a link sent by an unknown account.
- Sign in with the account details connected to the registered mobile number. If the record is not visible, use DigiLocker's official account-recovery or support route rather than creating conflicting candidate details.
- Open the issued-documents area and look for the CTET September 2026 marksheet. Successful candidates should also look for the eligibility certificate. Use CBSE as the issuer and check the examination cycle before saving either record.
- Download the original digital document and keep a backup. The bulletin says the records will be digitally signed and will carry an encrypted QR code that can be verified through the DigiLocker mobile app.
- If the marksheet or certificate is missing after CBSE confirms availability, check the official CTET notices for current-cycle instructions. Keep the application number, roll number, registered mobile number and result record ready, but share them only through an official support channel.
The marksheet and the eligibility certificate are different records. CBSE says all candidates receive a marksheet, while successful candidates receive the eligibility certificate. A screenshot is also less useful than the original digitally signed document because the encrypted QR code is part of the verification process.
Passing CTET does not guarantee a teaching job
CTET qualification is one eligibility condition used in relevant teacher recruitment. It does not create a right to recruitment, selection or appointment. Vacancies, education qualifications, category rules, document checks and every other condition in the recruiting authority's notice still apply.
A score above 90 does not let this result page estimate selection prospects. Recruitment bodies decide their own shortlisting and selection rules. Read the notice for the specific post before applying, and do not treat a message offering a job in exchange for payment as a result service.

If you meet the displayed benchmark
- Save the official scorecard and wait for current-cycle certificate instructions from CBSE.
- Check recruitment notices that accept CTET for the relevant teaching level. Confirm every separate eligibility condition before applying.
- Keep your education and identity documents ready for verification by the recruiting or appointing authority.

- Read the official marks and final answer-key material before relying on a private estimate. Use the CTET answer-key page for the official key, OMR and challenge status.
- Check whether a relevant school management or recruiting authority has a lawful policy-based concession. Do not assume that category alone changes the benchmark.
- CTET places no restriction on attempts, so another attempt remains possible under the rules for a future cycle.
If you qualified but want a higher score
The bulletin allows a qualified candidate to appear again to improve the score. A later attempt is a personal choice, not a requirement for keeping the lifetime certificate valid. Compare the recruitment rules you care about before deciding whether another attempt would help.
If your route also needs a teacher-education qualification

What will change after the result is released
This page is built for a pre-result state. It should move to a release state only after CBSE publishes evidence. The update should add:
- the verified result declaration date;
- the direct official result URL;

- the confirmed certificate access method, if CBSE announces one;
