Admission to BHM is mainly based on marks in +2, group discussion, and an interview. The interview focuses on English language knowledge, speaking ability, computer knowledge, and management understanding.

A senior manager may have a salary of about Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 80,000 per month. The demand for hospital managers in European and Southeast Asian countries is high, and salaries there are higher compared to India.
