Use the year and campus printed on the fee table

CMC Vellore's 2026-27 prospectus publishes separate schedules for MBBS, medical postgraduate courses, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences and other programmes. The figures below belong to those tables and must not be treated as a 2027-28 quotation. The prospectus says fees may change and that accommodation is separate for several courses. A useful comparison keeps tuition, recurring annual charges, one-time admission payments, university fees, deposits and hostel or mess costs in different columns.

MBBS: a printed total mixes annual and one-time items

The 2026-27 MBBS schedule lists tuition of ₹3,000 per year, other annual fees of ₹54,095, a one-time college fee at admission of ₹12,260 and a one-time university payment of ₹14,975. It prints a “College Fee Total” of ₹84,330. The four listed components add to that total; because two are labelled one-time and two annual, it should not be presented as a recurring annual charge or multiplied by the course length. Accommodation is not included in the college fee total.

The same schedule lists hostel deposits and advances of ₹10,000 for men and ₹10,000 for women. It gives approximate monthly bills of ₹8,000 for men and ₹9,500 for women. These are separate hostel estimates, not a guaranteed current quote or a complete cost-of-living budget. Ask the college what the deposit covers, which hostel applies to your course and whether room and mess charges have changed for the incoming batch.

BSc Nursing: Vellore and Chittoor have different schedules

The prospectus prints a BSc Nursing table under the Vellore Town Campus heading, then a second four-year BSc Nursing schedule on the next page. That second table repeats the Town Campus heading but shows different amounts. Because the campus label and figures do not clearly reconcile, this article does not relabel the second schedule as Chittoor. For the named Town Campus table, annual tuition is ₹810 in each of four years; other annual fees, university fees and hostel/mess charges change by year. The table below reproduces only that clearly labelled schedule and does not add hostel costs to college fees or convert the course into one single total.

The prospectus labels the Nursing schedule by year, so compare a first-year charge with first year rather than treating it as a full-course total. The separate second schedule requires campus confirmation before use. Since CMC also lists BSc Nursing at Chittoor, applicants should ask the registrar for the current written campus-specific fee breakdown. Hostel availability and assigned residence are not established by a fee table. Request current fee, hostel, deposit and refund terms before accepting an offer.

Allied Health Sciences degree fees

The prospectus's AHS degree table gives annual tuition, annual fee, university fee and a separate one-time fee. Its “Total Fee” row combines those components for each listed schedule; hostel charges appear separately. The course columns are BSc Medical Records, BOT, BPT, BSc Prosthetics and Orthotics, BSc Medical Sociology and Other Degree. The final 'Other Degree' column is a broad fee category, not a specific programme identity.

For these AHS degree courses, the prospectus lists an ₹8,000 one-time hostel deposit, yearly hostel payment of ₹25,920 and a monthly bill of ₹8,000. Those hostel lines are additional to the AHS course table. Course names, clinical placements and campus should be checked against the exact admission bulletin; the “Other Degree” fee column is not a substitute for identifying a programme.

Other programmes: check the matching row and duration

Medical PG fees vary by duration and course category. For the 2026-27 schedule, the prospectus lists totals of ₹1,87,634 for a two-year diploma, ₹2,30,540 for a two-year post-diploma degree, ₹2,58,440 for a three-year degree and ₹3,73,526 for six-year M.Ch. Neurosurgery. It says these amounts must be paid initially in a single instalment. A separate DM/MCh schedule lists ₹2,95,196, also payable initially in one instalment. These are category-specific table totals, not a fee per year or a common price for every postgraduate course.

The Nursing, fellowship and master's schedules use different formats. Some distinguish first and later years; others show a course total or fees “including GST” and “excluding GST.” For example, CMC's master's table lists MPH at ₹97,910 for the first year and ₹51,590 for the second, while MHA is shown as ₹82,350. The certificate-course table gives separate one-year and two-year totals before and after GST. Applicants should read the row heading and duration as carefully as the amount; do not treat a course total as annual tuition.

Build a written, course-specific budget

Before comparing offers, ask the registrar or course office for the current written schedule for the exact programme, campus, category and admission year. Confirm whether an amount is annual, a one-time admission payment, a full course total or an initial instalment. Ask whether university registration, examinations, uniform, deposits, hostel, mess, transport or other expenses are included. Check refund and payment deadlines in the current bulletin. The 2026-27 prospectus is a dated reference; it does not establish 2027-28 fees or individual hostel availability.
