NATA admit card: check the selected session
The admit card is the candidate-specific document for a booked NATA test. It should be downloaded from the official portal for the correct session and checked against the application details. The official 2026 schedule linked admit-card availability to the chosen test day: candidates scheduled on Friday and Saturday had different listed release days. That is historical 2026 information, not a release promise for a later cycle. As of 28 October 2026, no 2027 schedule was found in the bounded official-source check.
Do not rely on a single calendar date copied from another candidate. A multi-session schedule can release cards at different times. Sign in to the official account, look for the link for your booked session and follow any instruction in the current brochure. If the portal shows no card, first confirm the application and payment status and check whether the official schedule indicates that release has begun for your date.
Verify the details before test day
After downloading the card, compare the name, application or registration identifier, photograph, test date, session, centre address and reporting instruction with the application confirmation. The exact fields depend on the live admit-card format. The source packet does not reproduce a full future-year card template, so this list is a practical cross-check, not a claim that every field will appear in identical form. If any detail is wrong or the card is unavailable, contact the official help channel promptly and keep the ticket or correspondence.
Read the candidate instructions printed on the card and in the current brochure. Follow the stated reporting time and identification requirements. The 2026 source packet confirms offline drawing and composition in Part A and an online adaptive Part B, but it does not establish a universal future-cycle list of stationery, devices or prohibited items. Do not bring materials based only on an old checklist or an unofficial forum post. Centre instructions and the current official notice take precedence.
Save the PDF in two accessible places and keep a printed copy if the official instructions request one. Check that the downloaded file opens and that the text and photograph are readable. Do not alter the document. If the portal regenerates a card after a correction, use the latest official version and recheck the session and centre. Keep the original application confirmation and correction receipt with it in case the help desk asks for proof.
If your test date or centre looks wrong
First compare the card with your final submitted application, not an earlier draft. Check whether a correction was saved and whether the portal issued a revised card. If the discrepancy remains, contact the NATA help desk using the contact details shown on the official portal or brochure. Provide the application identifier and a concise description. Avoid posting identity documents publicly. The reviewed packet does not establish a general right to change a centre after card release, so do not assume that an error can be fixed on test day.
If the name or photograph differs from your identity document, ask the exam authority what it requires before travelling. If the venue address is incomplete or unclear, use the official centre communication and verify the location in advance. The authoritative instructions for entry, identity checks, arrival and permitted materials are those published for the candidate’s specific test session. A secondary website’s general NATA guidance cannot override them.
Admit card does not complete admission
The admit card only concerns entry to the test. It is not proof of B.Arch admission eligibility, a scorecard, a merit list or a seat offer. NATA qualification and the later state or institutional application are separate steps. For example, Kerala CEE used its own 2026 B.Arch process and required NATA qualification under a separate notice. That process was Kerala-specific and has passed; it illustrates why candidates should keep track of the admission authority after the exam as well.
Once the examination is over, retain the card until results and admission verification are complete. The scorecard, application form and underlying academic documents may be requested later by an admission authority. Keep originals secure and submit copies only as directed.
2026 timing and official verification
The NATA 2026 schedule provided session-linked admit-card timing. The official NATA schedule page and the NATA 2026 information brochure are the primary sources checked for this page on 28 October 2026. The scheduled 2026 dates are historical. For a future test, check the current schedule, log in to the official portal and follow the instructions attached to your own session. No future release date is asserted here.
