Application started 18 April 2026 and closes 17 May 2026 (20 May with ₹500 late fee). The exam opens admission to B.Sc. Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Food Nutrition & Dietetics, Community Science, B.Tech. Dairy Technology and B.Tech. Food Technology across five state agricultural universities and multiple private universities in Rajasthan.

Universities That Accept Rajasthan JET 2026 Scores
Five state agriculture/veterinary universities participate, along with approved private universities:
- Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University (SKRAU), Bikaner
- Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur
- Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University (SKNAU), Jobner
- Agriculture University, Jodhpur
- Agriculture University, Kota
Among private universities, names like Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur National University, Jagannath University, Mewar University, Bhagwant University, Career Point University, Apex University, and Vivekananda Global University accept JET scores for agriculture and allied courses. Colleges, Seats, and Indicative Cutoffs
The table below combines data from the official 2026 seat matrix (where available) and previous year cutoff trends. Marks are out of 800 (effective 480 when three subjects are attempted). Cutoffs are indicative UR category closing marks in main counselling round 1.
Government and University Constituent Colleges
The cut-off ranges marked with an asterisk (*) are actual 2025 UR cutoffs (college-wise) taken from SKRAU’s 2025 counselling data; others are composite estimates based on 2025 and earlier year trends. Candidates should note that cutoffs depend on exam difficulty, number of applicants, and category. The general category closing marks for top government colleges hover in the 340-400 range, while reserved category marks (OBC, SC, ST) are generally 20-50 marks lower.
Private Universities Accepting JET 2026
The following private universities offer B.Sc. Agriculture and allied programmes and will publish their 2026 fee structure and seat intake in the counselling seat matrix.

B.Tech. Dairy Technology and Food Technology Colleges
Candidates must note that for B.Tech. Dairy Technology, appearing in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in JET is compulsory. For B.Tech. Food Technology, PCM/PCB/PCMB/PCA subjects are accepted.
How Cutoffs Work in Rajasthan JET
The exam has 200 questions of 4 marks each, totalling 800 marks. You attempt only three subjects (40 questions each) relevant to your 10+2 stream, so your maximum obtainable score is 480. After the exam, SKRAU releases a merit list based on scored marks (out of 480). During counselling, colleges have course-wise cutoffs that drop as rounds progress.
- A score above 300 out of 480 is considered good and can fetch a government college seat in B.Sc. Agriculture for the general category, especially in round 1.
- Scores in the 250-300 range can get you a government college in later rounds or a good private university.
- Below 200, the number of available government seats shrinks; private universities and payment seats become the primary options.

Seat Matrix Highlights from 2025-26
For perspective, the 2025-26 seat matrix across participating universities included:
- SKRAU constituent colleges (Bikaner) had around 200 seats for B.Sc. Agriculture, 60 for Home Science, 60 for Community Science.
- MPUAT Udaipur offered 80 B.Sc. Agriculture, 40 B.Sc. Food Nutrition & Dietetics, 40 B.Sc. Community Science, 30 BFSc, and B.Tech. seats.
- Agriculture University Jodhpur had 150 B.Sc. Agriculture seats split between Jodhpur, Sumerpur, and Nagaur campuses.
- Agriculture University Kota offered 70 B.Sc. Agriculture seats.
- The College of Horticulture and Forestry, Jhalawar had 55 B.Sc. Horticulture and 30 B.Sc. Forestry seats.
- Several new government colleges at Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Dausa, Karauli, Hanumangarh, etc., added seats in the 2025 matrix; their 2026 seat intake will be published in the counselling information booklet.

Rajasthan JET 2026 Counselling: What You Pay
Counselling is fully online. After the result, qualified candidates register and fill their college and course preferences.
The ₹5,000 is adjusted against tuition fees when you join the allotted college. If you pay but later withdraw without joining, the ₹5,000 is not refunded. The ₹1,200 is non-refundable counselling processing charge in all cases.
Seats are allotted through multiple rounds - typically three main rounds followed by final and spot rounds if vacancies remain. Each round, you must accept the seat and pay the acceptance fee within the deadline. Missing a round deadline can lead to seat cancellation.
How to Use This College List
- Estimate your probable score from mock tests and previous years' papers.
- Match your estimated range to the indicative cutoffs in the tables above.
- Build a list of 10-15 colleges covering a mix of safe, realistic, and ambitious choices.
- Once the 2026 seat matrix is published, check the exact intake and category-wise reservation for each shortlisted college.
- During counselling, fill as many choices as you genuinely consider acceptable. The portal allows unlimited preferences.
- Always verify the college's approval status and course affiliation from the official counselling website before locking your choices.
