Counselling status and official portal
No 2027-28 counselling dates were found in official sources checked on 27 October 2026. The current official TGEAPCET admissions portal provides cycle notices, candidate login, option entry and allotment information. The exam may be known as TS EAMCET in candidate searches and TG EAPCET/TGEAPCET in current notices. Confirm the cycle and course before acting.
The 2026 process is useful as a procedural example, not as a promise that 2027 will use the same dates or steps. Its detailed notification listed processing-fee payment and slot booking, certificate verification, option entry and phased seat allotment. The user guide explains the portal workflow, including checking payment status and booking a help-line-centre slot.
Typical steps to expect, subject to the new notice
- Read the official course and phase notification and confirm eligibility.
- File the required basic information and pay the stated processing fee through the official portal.
- Book a certificate-verification slot and help-line centre when required.
- Attend verification with the documents listed for the candidate’s category and local status.
- Exercise college and course options in the candidate’s true preference order and save the option list.
- Check the provisional allotment and complete tuition-fee payment and online self-reporting within the stated window.
- Report physically to the allotted college if required and keep acknowledgement records.
The exact order and repeat requirements are cycle-specific. In the 2026 notification, candidates were instructed to exercise options afresh in later phases; old options were not automatically considered. The 2027 notice must determine whether and how that applies next cycle.
Documents and option strategy
Prepare the hall ticket, rank card, qualifying-exam records and other documents requested in the current annexure. Candidates claiming local, reservation, income, EWS or special-category status should check certificate format, issuing authority and validity. Bring originals and copies as instructed. Keep mobile access for OTPs and use the candidate’s correct contact details.
Before option entry, compare approved colleges, branches, fee information, location and historical last ranks. The portal’s option list may be subject to approval by AICTE, government and the affiliating body; the admissions portal carries current lists and notices. Use last ranks as historical context, not guaranteed thresholds. Arrange options in preference order rather than ranking only by predicted chance.
After allotment
Read the allotment order and every instruction for fee payment, self-reporting, physical reporting, cancellation and subsequent phases. Save receipts and confirm the portal reflects the completed action. A seat is not secure merely because an allotment appears if the candidate misses required payment or reporting steps. Use only official help-desk contacts when the portal shows a candidate-specific problem.
