No 2027-28 cutoff is available yet
Future closing ranks cannot be known before seat allotment. As of 27 October 2026, the checked official material does not publish 2027-28 last ranks. A cutoff is not one number for the entire examination: it depends on college, branch, seat category, gender or other applicable reservation, local status and counselling round. Be cautious with pages that label one rank as “the TS EAMCET cutoff” without those dimensions.
The official admissions portal publishes historical last-rank statements. The 2025 first-phase statement is an example of college- and branch-level data with category and candidate columns. It is specific to the 2025 first phase. Later rounds may have different ranks, and the final 2026 statements are a different cycle and round. Use the exact file label when comparing.
Read a last-rank table correctly
First match the institute code and name, course or branch, category, local-area pool and gender column. Then note the phase. A last rank at the end of a particular allotment round describes that round’s observed allocation under its rules. It does not show every later spot admission, dropout or management seat. The official 2025 document itself warns that its ranks are for information and should not be treated as the rank to which a seat will be allotted in a current year.
When comparing years, ensure that the branch name, seat pool and reservation labels are equivalent. A branch may be newly introduced, renamed or have changed intake. The rank distribution can move when candidate preferences, available seats, exam difficulty or rules change. A prior rank is useful for constructing a reach, match and safer set of options; it is not an admission promise.
Build a realistic preference list
Use the most recent official round data available and compare more than one year if equivalent records exist. Keep preferred colleges and branches in genuine order, including aspirational options if desired, then add alternatives you would actually accept. Review fees, location, approvals, course curriculum and other constraints before adding an option. Do not place a less preferred choice above a more preferred one solely because a third-party cutoff predicts it is safer.
The counselling authority’s current option list and seat matrix control what can be selected. Check the current notification for special-category priorities and local/unreserved seat rules. The counselling process may have phases where options must be exercised again; do not assume earlier options automatically carry forward.
What this page does not claim
There are no forecasted 2027-28 ranks here. Historical last ranks are descriptive evidence, not a cutoff guarantee or rank predictor. Recheck the official admissions portal after each round for the current cycle’s files and methodology.
