Christian Medical College (CMC) (CMC Ludhiana) in Punjab has historical cutoff records for NEET-SS, Punjab-NEET-Counselling on this page. There is no single cutoff for the whole college: read each course, category, quota and round separately. Coverage below reflects the records on this page.

I could not verify a numerical 2027-28 closing rank or score for Christian Medical College Ludhiana in the official sources reviewed on 1 November 2026. The latest MBBS/BDS bulletin opened here is for 2026, and CMC’s Admission 2026 page was updated on 30 October 2026. Those materials explain the selection framework and direct candidates to BFUHS and CMC for counselling updates; they do not provide a 2027-28 cutoff table. Treat any number presented as a CMC Ludhiana cutoff for 2027-28 as unverified until the responsible authority publishes a dated result with course, quota, category, round and rank measure identified.
That distinction matters because “cutoff” is often used for different things. NEET qualification is an eligibility threshold. A college’s closing rank is the last rank that received an allotment in a specified course, seat category and counselling round. A provisional merit list is neither a seat allotment nor proof that every listed candidate satisfied all admission conditions. CMC’s 2026 bulletin says that inclusion in the merit list and appearance for document scrutiny do not guarantee admission. Use the allotment result and its later revisions, not an eligibility rule or shortlist, when comparing past admissions.
CMC’s 2026 information bulletin states that MBBS and BDS admission is based on eligibility and merit in NEET (UG) 2026. In the same passage, the college says BPT merit is based on Class 12 board marks. A NEET rank therefore cannot be used as a BPT cutoff, and a BPT counselling notice cannot establish an MBBS or BDS closing rank.
For the 2026 cycle, the bulletin says provisional MBBS/BDS merit was based on NEET UG merit and, for applicants in the Christian Minority with Service Commitment category, verification of documents to establish minority status and eligibility for the relevant category. It also says applicants are considered only for courses for which they applied and are eligible. The college’s current admission page links to separate notices by course. Read the course label and notice date before using a result: a notice for a vacant BPT seat, for example, is not evidence about MBBS seats.
CMC’s 2026 bulletin separates Open, Christian Minority with Service Commitment, Punjab SC/ST, Punjab BC/OBC and NRI categories, and divides the service-commitment category into area groups. A rank attached to one of these paths is not automatically comparable with a rank in another. The 2026 bulletin’s seat-distribution heading itself labels its displayed distribution as 2025, so those figures should not be carried forward as current 2027-28 seat counts or treated as cutoffs.
For the Christian Minority with Service Commitment path, the bulletin describes a separate documentation and Bible Test requirement. It states that candidates scoring below 40% in that test are considered only in the Open category and that Bible Test marks do not enter NEET merit preparation. The Bible Test is thus an eligibility condition for that category, not an alternative ranking scale to compare with NEET All India Rank. The service-commitment category also has area groups. Check the relevant group and eligibility proof in the current bulletin rather than collapsing all minority seats into one line.
Open-category consideration is another reason not to compare a single “CMC cutoff” number across applicants. The bulletin says qualified candidates can also be considered in Open categories. A candidate may therefore be eligible for a different seat pathway from another applicant with a similar NEET rank. The round, quota, course and category determine which allotment list is relevant; the word “open” by itself does not tell you whether a row is an Open seat or an open round.
CMC’s Admission 2026 page was updated on 30 October 2026 and lists MBBS/BDS/BPT materials, including the information bulletin, reporting instructions and notices. Its newest linked vacant-seat notice opened during this check was specifically for BPT college-level counselling. It directed BPT applicants to use the BFUHS online portal and stated that candidates already registered for centralized counselling need not apply again. These are course-specific, dated instructions; they should not be generalized to MBBS/BDS or a later intake.
The college bulletin says counselling schedules are governed by BFUHS and applicable regulatory or government directions, with updates posted on the BFUHS and CMC websites. Follow the current BFUHS undergraduate counselling portal for merit lists, seat matrices, allotments and revised results, then check CMC’s admission page for institution-specific verification and reporting instructions. A college-level vacancy notice may use a different process from centralized counselling, so read the eligible-candidate wording and application method carefully.
When BFUHS publishes the relevant result, first confirm that the row names Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, and the exact course. Then record the session and round, allotted quota, allotted seat category, candidate category, and whether the document is provisional, revised or final. Keep NEET All India Rank separate from score/marks and from any category merit number. For a closing rank, find the least competitive rank that actually received the specified allotment within that exact group; do not use the highest rank in a combined list or count a candidate whose row was shifted to another college or course.
Compare like with like across years only when the same course, seat category, quota, round and rank basis are visible in both official results. Seat availability, participation rules, category eligibility, joined-candidate removals and revisions can change the last rank. A round-one provisional result is not the final round’s closing rank, and a stray-vacancy allotment is not interchangeable with an earlier centralized round. The source set reviewed for this page did not yield a verifiable, downloadable BFUHS MBBS/BDS allotment table for the current cycle, so this page gives no numerical cutoff and makes no admission prediction. The previously indexed 2025 BFUHS allotment files returned 404 when opened directly during this research; no ranks were derived from search snippets or personal candidate records.
For your own comparison, keep a copy of the official result and note its publication or revision date. If an online summary gives a CMC cutoff without linking the underlying BFUHS list and identifying the exact dimensions above, do not use it as a reliable estimate. Eligibility to apply, a place on a provisional merit list and an actual seat allotment are separate stages. Confirm any category or reporting question with BFUHS and CMC before acting on an old result.
