The Department of Commerce at the Delhi School of Economics (DSE) manages placements for its MBA programmes, including International Business (IB), Human Resource Development (HRD), and Business Analytics (BA). Placements are reported separately by programme, with outcomes driven largely by the consulting and finance sectors.
MBA Placement Outcomes (2025 Cohort)
Recent placement reports for the cohorts graduating in 2025 establish the following compensation metrics.
MBA (International Business)
For the 2023-2025 MBA (IB) batch, the institution reported:
- Highest Package: INR 30.00 LPA
- Median Package: INR 15.17 LPA

Admission Guardian Analysis: The reported median (INR 15.17 LPA) is higher than the overall average (INR 13.92 LPA). This distribution indicates that at least half of the cohort secured offers above INR 15.17 LPA, while a smaller concentration of lower-tier compensation packages pulled the overall arithmetic mean down. The upper half of the batch maintained a strong average of INR 17.62 LPA.
The cohort also secured Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) for 16% of the participating candidates.
MBA (Business Analytics)
For the 2025 cohort, the MBA (Business Analytics) programme reported a highest package of INR 23.50 LPA and an average package of INR 13.00 LPA.
MBA (Human Resource Development)
The MBA (HRD) programme undergoes a distinct placement cycle. Recent historical data places its average compensation between INR 11.00 LPA and INR 12.00 LPA, driven by recruitment from manufacturing, professional services, and the banking sector.
