IIM Bangalore’s published programme list spans full-time management degrees, a programme for working professionals, doctoral study, public policy and certificate offerings, alongside undergraduate degrees introduced in 2025. Their study formats and fee bases differ. The clearest current published fee in the captured official material is for the domestic two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), batch 2026–28: ₹26 lakh for two years. It is not a universal IIMB fee, and the available page does not provide a comparable fee schedule for every listed programme.
The PGP is a two-year full-time programme: its first year covers core management areas, followed by a summer internship; the second year offers electives and an exchange option at select international business schools. The separate Post Graduate Programme in Business Analytics (PGPBA) is also a two-year full-time programme, with an analytics focus. IIMB also lists the one-year full-time residential EPGP for experienced professionals and the two-year PGPEM for working professionals. These are distinct choices in duration and intended format, so applicants should use each programme’s own admissions and expenses pages rather than carry the PGP figure across.
The official financial-aid and scholarships page lists ₹26,00,000 as fees for two years for the domestic PGP 2026–28 batch. The stated coverage includes tuition, library and internet access, case-permission royalty, course material, hostel room rent and service charge, medical and personal-accident insurance, and alumni activity. This is a broad academic and residential fee bundle, not tuition alone.
Two items are listed separately. A one-time general caution deposit is ₹30,000 at registration, and students pay a mess advance of ₹30,000 each term in addition to the stated fee. The page says the fee excludes service tax and any other tax that may become applicable by law. It does not set out a hostel choice for every year: accommodation is provided on campus for PGP students, while students may opt to arrange off-campus accommodation themselves in the second year. That choice can change a student’s actual living costs, which the published fee total does not estimate.
For planning, keep the figures in separate buckets: ₹26 lakh is the two-year stated fee; the caution deposit is a separate one-time payment; term-wise mess advances are additional; and any legally applicable tax is outside the listed fee. The page does not specify the number or timing of all mess-advance instalments, a refund timetable for the deposit, or a full off-campus living budget. Confirm payment instructions and the current term schedule directly with IIMB before budgeting cash flow.
The same official page says all PGP students with annual household income below ₹8 lakh are eligible to apply for financial aid. It also says students facing severe financial difficulty because of sudden unforeseen circumstances may be considered. Eligibility to apply is not a guaranteed award. The institute describes a two-step assessment: a financial-status score uses household income, savings, real-estate assets and other assets; some applicants then attend a faculty interaction, which assesses need and the genuineness of the application. The page lists aid levels of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% or 100% based on a weighted average of the two scores.
The page also lists programme-specific merit or merit-cum-need support. The Aditya Birla Scholarship is available to PGP students in both years; first-year recipients may seek renewal in year two if they are in the top quarter of the batch in year one. The listed amount is ₹1.75 lakh per student. The OPJEMS scholarship is for second-year PGP students: the first ten academic performers from year one may apply, followed by an online test, with one awardee per academic year and a listed amount of ₹1.50 lakh. The NTPC scheme lists ₹48,000 a year for eligible second-year SC/ST/PwD management students who passed the first-year examination in one attempt.
Other entries have their own conditions. The Employment in Social Sector Scholarship reimburses one-third of fees at the end of each year of social-sector work for the first three years. The page describes central scholarships for eligible first-year ST and SC PGP students as covering tuition expenses in full, subject to the relevant government application process. It lists a PwD means scholarship of ₹2,55,000 per year for a person with at least 40% disability and a certificate from a competent medical authority. These awards should not be treated as automatically stackable or deducted from the fee estimate: the captured page does not state a universal combination rule, and individual schemes have their own eligibility and application steps. Ask the financial-aid office which award can apply to your case and when its funds are disbursed.
IIMB’s July 2025 announcement introduced BSc Honours degrees in Economics and Data Science, each with a minor in the other named area. It described four-year, full-time residential programmes for the upcoming Jigani campus, around 27 km from the main campus, and scheduled the first batch for August 2026 with 40 students in each programme. These details describe the launch plan and cohort, not a fee quotation.
The official captures available for this page do not establish an undergraduate fee schedule or current amounts for PGPBA, EPGP, PGPEM, doctoral, public-policy or certificate programmes. Do not use the domestic PGP 2026–28 total as a proxy. For any other course, request its current programme-specific fee notice and check whether accommodation, meals, deposits, taxes and aid are included or separate. The official programme catalogue and the PGP expenses and financial-aid page are the right starting points for confirmation.
