IIM Rohtak’s published materials describe three distinct programmes with very different entry points and financial commitments. The two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), also identified as the institute’s MBA, is for graduates. The five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is an after-Class-XII route that combines undergraduate and postgraduate study and leads to an integrated BBA+MBA. The five-year Integrated Programme in Law (IPL) is also an after-Class-XII route and awards an integrated BBA-LLB. Their fees cannot be compared by looking at one “IIM Rohtak fee” figure: they cover different lengths, years, deposits and optional accommodation costs.
The PGP Batch 17 prospectus for 2026-28 describes a two-academic-year programme with three terms in each year. It says the first year provides a foundation across management functions and the second year has electives across areas including economics and public policy, finance and accounting, information systems, operations, organisational behaviour and marketing. The official IPM Batch 08 prospectus for 2026-31 describes 15 terms over five years, with foundation subjects in the first part and management subjects in the later part. The IPL Batch 06 prospectus for 2026-31 also describes 15 terms, combining business management and legal education. Those programme structures are useful for understanding what a published fee is buying; they do not establish next-batch fees or curriculum changes.
All amounts below are attached to their named 2026 batches. The assigned guide edition is 2027-28, but no future intake amount is inferred from these documents. Before paying, compare the batch named in the offer letter with the current fee notice and confirm which charges are included, which are refundable deposits, and which are billed separately.
An opened independent fee summary, updated 10 October 2026, transcribes IIM Rohtak’s official PGP 17th Batch fee sheet as a two-year programme fee of ₹17,90,000. It reports ₹8,95,000 for PGP I and ₹8,95,000 for PGP II. Each year is split across three terms: ₹3,55,000 for Term I and ₹2,70,000 for each of Terms II and III; the same split is reported for year two. The summary links the institute’s PGP 17th-batch fee PDF. We could open the PGP prospectus and the institute’s older fee pages, but that 2026-28 PDF itself timed out in this source check. Treat the reproduced figure as a useful dated reference and verify the PDF or current offer-letter schedule before making a payment.
The same opened secondary summary reports charges beyond the ₹17.90 lakh programme total: mess ₹48,000 per year, placement facility charges ₹40,000, development charges ₹10,000 per year, alumni membership ₹6,500, and a refundable caution deposit of ₹10,000. These are distinct charge types, so do not add the caution deposit to academic tuition and call it a second programme fee. Check the offer letter for the actual payment dates and confirm whether a future cohort revises any of these amounts.
The PGP prospectus helps explain the programme behind the total. It describes the first year as compulsory foundation courses and the second year as elective courses, alongside three simulation-based courses and a Term VI integrative project. That makes the PGP fee a two-year programme amount, not an annual tuition quote. It also means the PGP total is not directly comparable with the IPM’s first-three-year figures or IPL’s non-hostel total below.
The official IPM fee structure lists a programme fee of ₹6,22,045 for each of the first three academic years. The fourth- and fifth-year entries say “PGP fee applicable at that time.” The institute therefore does not print one fixed five-year total in this schedule: the later fee depends on the PGP fee that applies when that cohort reaches those years. Multiplying the first three annual amounts gives ₹18,66,135 for those three years alone; this is not the full five-year price.
The fee sheet separately lists charges and deposits for years one to three. Study material is ₹28,000 in year one and ₹20,000 in each of years two and three; the development fee is ₹10,000 each year. First-year entries also include a ₹10,000 mess caution deposit, a ₹10,000 security deposit and a ₹6,000 utility deposit. Utility deposits are ₹4,000 in each of years two and three. The table’s totals for these additional charges are ₹64,000, ₹34,000 and ₹34,000 respectively. The document marks the deposits refundable at the end of the programme and says study material charges are subject to change. Annual mess charges are not included in the table; the institute says they will be communicated at the start of the academic year.
IPM’s fee should be planned as three different buckets: the known annual programme fee for the first three years, the listed additional charges and deposits, and the future PGP-based costs for years four and five. The source provides no fixed value for that last bucket. Applicants comparing IPM with a two-year PGP should account for both the extra time in the programme and the fact that later-year fees are still unresolved in this batch document.
The official IPL fee structure lists a base total of ₹32,47,450 for non-hostel users: ₹6,42,000 in each of the first four years and ₹6,79,450 in year five. This is a five-year integrated law programme; the institute’s prospectus identifies the award as BBA-LLB and states that the programme is not split into interim exit degrees under the 2026-31 rules.
The ₹32,47,450 figure is not an all-in living-cost total. The fee document says the programme fee excludes mess, hostel and utility charges. For students who use the hostel/PG accommodation, it lists an additional ₹36,000 per academic year for hostel use and ₹53,000 per academic year for mess; electricity, maintenance and other charges are paid at actuals. The document also lists a ₹10,000 annual development fee and a refundable ₹10,000 security/caution deposit in the first year. It says the fee already includes study materials, placement facility, alumni/support and library charges. Keep these inclusions and exclusions beside the headline amount when budgeting.
The IPL prospectus says the ₹1,00,000 Offer Acceptance Amount is adjusted against the first-year programme fee. It is an advance within the fee schedule, not an additional fifth-year or separate programme charge. The offer letter controls the required amount and date. The prospectus and fee sheet are for Batch 06, 2026-31; use the relevant current documents for a later batch.
A quick comparison is useful only when its basis stays visible:
These amounts should not be ranked as if they covered the same period or facilities. The PGP amount covers two programme years, IPM has unknown fourth- and fifth-year PGP prices, and IPL’s total is expressly for non-hostel users with housing and mess extra. For a fair estimate, add the actual term payments and compulsory programme-specific charges for the same admission batch, then keep refundable deposits separate from non-refundable costs.
The official documents available for this page cover PGP 2026-28, IPM 2026-31 and IPL 2026-31. They are dated references for applicants comparing programme structures and published charges, not a fee promise for 2027-28 or a later cohort. Before paying an application or offer amount, use the institute’s live programme page and portal, match the fee notice to the exact batch and programme name, and confirm what is payable now, what will be set later, and what is refundable.
