The Noida campus is part of the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. Its current campus page lists five programmes: the International Programme in Management for Executives (IPMX), the two-year programme for working executives (PGPWE, shown as WMP), the Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM), the Post Graduate Programme in Sustainable Management (PGP-SM), and MBA-FB. The current page confirms MBA-FB is listed at Noida, but the sources reviewed here do not establish its 2027-28 eligibility, test, dates or fee; check its own live admission notice before applying. These programmes serve different stages of a career, so there is no single Noida-campus CAT cutoff or application calendar that covers all five. The general MBA, MBA-ABM and MBA-SM 2026-28 admission policy is a separate institute-wide policy; it should not be applied automatically to IPMX, PGPWE, EFPM or MBA-FB.
For an applicant looking at the 2027 intake, the key practical split is between IPMX, which is a one-year residential executive MBA; PGPWE, a two-year route designed for working executives; EFPM, a part-time doctoral route for experienced professionals; and PGP-SM, a full-time sustainability-management postgraduate course. Confirm the campus and programme name on the current application form before paying a fee or sending test scores. The campus is in Sector 62, Noida, but programme eligibility and selection are published on each programme's own page.
IPMX 2027-28: four years of experience and GMAT or GRE
IPMX is a one-year, full-time residential programme at IIM Lucknow's Noida campus. For the 2027-28 batch, the official IPMX page states a minimum of four years of full-time post-qualification work experience as of 31 March 2027. It asks for a valid GMAT or GRE score that remains valid through the application deadline; the institute says at-home GMAT/GRE scores are not accepted and does not specify a minimum score. The page describes the score as one evaluation input alongside academic and professional profile, Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
The current selection formula shown for the 2027-28 batch assigns 30% to the GMAT/GRE score, 30% to academic and professional profile, 10% to WAT and 30% to PI. This is a 70% pre-interview component and 30% interview component if the first three items are grouped together, but the individual weights are more useful when deciding what to strengthen. The official application instructions also request two recommenders. IPMX lists an application fee of ₹5,000, non-refundable.
The official page lists multiple application phases and an April 2027 start. Its schedule is not consistent across the current official page variants captured for this review: one version gives 1 December 2026 as the Phase 3 deadline, while another gives 20 January 2027. Because the discrepancy changes whether an applicant can still apply, do not rely on a cached schedule. Check the live IPMX application portal or contact the Noida admissions office before submitting.
PGPWE 2027-29: a working-executive degree with several accepted tests
IIM Lucknow describes PGPWE as its two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives, formerly called the Working Managers' Programme. For the 2027-29 intake, the published eligibility asks for a bachelor's degree after 10+2 with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, plus at least three years of full-time post-qualification work experience by 31 March 2027. The page accepts a valid test-centre GMAT or GRE, CAT from 2024 or 2025, GATE from 2025 or 2026, or the PGPWE entrance exam conducted at the Noida campus. These alternatives mean applicants should check the validity period for the exact test they plan to use rather than assume CAT is compulsory.
The page's selection formula gives 30% to the test score, 30% to academic and professional profile, 10% to WAT and 30% to PI. The programme is non-residential; the FAQ says campus accommodation may be available on request, case by case, subject to availability and payment at prevailing rates. That matters for applicants planning to commute or relocate: admission does not itself guarantee a room.
There is a date conflict in IIML's own current PGPWE material. The WMP page's 2027-29 schedule table lists the second application deadline as 31 December 2026 at 5 pm, while the programme-specific admissions page lists 15 January 2027. Treat the deadline as unresolved until the live application form confirms it. The same page describes the PGPWE entrance exam timing as tentative, so do not book travel from a cached schedule alone.
EFPM: a part-time doctoral option for experienced professionals
The Executive Fellow Programme in Management is a part-time, non-residential doctoral programme for working executives, managers, faculty members and researchers. The live application form, last updated 16 October 2026, requires applicants to be employed full time, have at least seven years of work experience and be no older than 55 as of 31 March 2027. Its academic eligibility is route-specific: for example, a non-engineering graduate must also hold a postgraduate qualification, while engineering graduates and certain professional qualifications follow different mark thresholds. Read the form's full category table before deciding eligibility.
Applicants may submit CAT, GATE, a valid test-centre GMAT or GRE, a UGC/CSIR/ICAR JRF or SRF qualification, or opt for the entrance exam conducted at IIML's Noida campus. The form excludes online at-home GMAT/GRE scores. It lists a non-refundable application fee of ₹1,000 for General/OBC applicants and ₹500 for SC/ST applicants. The form does not provide a clear current application deadline in the captured instructions, so check the live EFPM portal before preparing a submission. Meeting minimum eligibility does not guarantee admission or first-year exemption.
PGP-SM: use the 2026-28 admission rules only as historical context
The campus page places the two-year full-time PGP-SM at Noida and describes it as a programme in sustainable management. IIML's available admission material is for the 2026-28 batch and CAT 2025. That earlier policy required a bachelor's degree with 50% marks, or 45% for SC/ST/PwD applicants, and at least 24 months of work experience for PGP-SM. Its process used CAT, academic performance, relevant work experience, WAT and PI.
Those are historical 2026-28 rules, not confirmed 2027-29 requirements. The programme page currently links fee information for 2026-28 and earlier batches, but the material captured here does not establish a new intake schedule, eligibility table, cutoff or fee for 2027-29. Applicants considering PGP-SM should wait for the next batch's notice and then compare its actual work-experience, test and category rules with their profile. Do not substitute the flagship MBA's general cutoff table or the previous PGP-SM policy for a new batch.
How to verify a Noida-campus application before submitting
Use the programme's own admissions page as the primary checklist, then confirm the application portal shows the same batch, accepted test and deadline. This is especially important for IPMX and PGPWE because the current official page variants captured for this guide disagree on Phase 3 or Round 2 closing dates. Save a copy of the live page or confirmation email when you submit; application windows can change and the printed schedule may mark dates tentative.
For IPMX, ask the Noida admissions office whether the 2027-28 Phase 3 deadline is 1 December 2026 or 20 January 2027 before paying the fee. For PGPWE, confirm whether the 2027-29 Round 2 deadline is 31 December 2026 or 15 January 2027. The official contact directory lists the Noida campus and programme contacts; use the IPMX or PGPWE contact shown on the respective page. For EFPM, the application form is current enough to specify work-experience and age reference dates, but applicants still need the live application portal for a closing date. For PGP-SM, do not treat the 2026-28 policy as a current-cycle notice.
A final self-check should match four items: programme and campus, batch label, test score validity, and the date by which a complete application must be submitted. A test or cutoff rule for the Lucknow-campus MBA does not answer those questions for each Noida-campus programme.
