IIM Lucknow’s Noida campus has several management programmes with very different fee models. The IPMX is a residential one-year executive MBA; PGPWE is a non-residential programme for working executives; MBA-FB is a non-residential family-business MBA; EFPM is an executive doctoral programme; and PGP-SM is a residential sustainable-management programme. A single “IIM Lucknow fee” does not describe these choices.
The clearest current schedules captured for this guide are IPMX 2027-28, PGPWE 2027-29, MBA-FB 2027-29 and EFPM 2027-28. The PGP-SM page links a 2026-28 batch fee schedule, but the amount was not exposed in the captured page text. Compare each programme’s edition, accommodation and additional modules before comparing headline totals.
IIM Lucknow lists the IPMX programme fee as ₹26 lakh for 2027-28, plus a refundable ₹20,000 caution deposit and ₹5,000 alumni membership fee. The published fee includes tuition, course material, a basic single-occupancy room with a shared washroom, food, computing and network services, library services, career counselling, student activities and convocation. This makes it a different comparison from the non-residential Noida programmes.
The overseas module adds a separate budget boundary. Academic inputs, visa and stay during the module are included in the programme fee, but airfare is charged separately at actual cost. The institute also says that boarding and other incidentals during the module, such as local transport, internet, telephone and stationery, are borne by students. Room options with an attached toilet or other additional accommodation features can also cost extra.
The tentative payment schedule asks for ₹3 lakh first, with dates varying by admission phase. A further ₹5.75 lakh is due in March 2027, with the caution deposit, alumni fee and any additional accommodation charges added at that stage; three further ₹5.75 lakh installments are scheduled for May, September and December 2027. Verify the current phase schedule before paying because the institute labels the schedule tentative.
For PGPWE 2027-29, the published programme fee is ₹11 lakh. The institute separately lists a refundable caution deposit of ₹10,000, an alumni membership fee of ₹5,000 and taxes as applicable. Its schedule starts with ₹70,000 when accepting an offer, then ₹1.58 lakh at registration in April 2027, including the caution deposit. It lists ₹1.48 lakh at the start of Terms 2 through 6 and ₹1.47 lakh at Term 7, including the alumni fee. The listed installments add up to ₹11.15 lakh, matching the ₹11 lakh programme fee plus the stated ₹10,000 caution and ₹5,000 alumni charges. The page says taxes apply but the extracted payment table does not break out a tax line; confirm the tax treatment on the offer schedule.
International immersion is mandatory for this programme. The institute estimates the additional cost at about ₹4.50 lakh, payable on actuals, with ₹2 lakh alongside Term 4 and the balance alongside Term 5. The estimate is not a guaranteed cap. PGPWE is non-residential; accommodation may be available on request, case by case, subject to availability and payment at prevailing rates. Budget housing separately.
The official MBA-FB page lists a ₹25 lakh programme fee for 2027-29, alongside a refundable ₹10,000 caution deposit, ₹10,000 alumni membership fee, ₹10,000 convocation fee and applicable taxes. It describes global immersion as optional, at approximately ₹10 lakh for academic and accommodation expenses on actuals. Candidates who opt out of immersion instead complete a dissertation under a faculty or industry mentor, with a ₹3 lakh dissertation fee.
This means the ₹25 lakh programme fee is not an all-in residential price. The programme is non-residential and excludes hostel and mess charges. Campus accommodation may be available on request, case by case, subject to availability and payment at prevailing rates. The published payment schedule includes ₹1 lakh when accepting an offer, ₹4.10 lakh at Term 1 registration including caution money, ₹4 lakh at the start of Terms 2 through 5, and ₹4.20 lakh at Term 6 including alumni and convocation charges. The optional immersion or dissertation line is additional to those listed term amounts.
The EFPM fee page states a total of ₹7.50 lakh for candidates who complete the programme requirements on time. It lists ₹5 lakh for candidates exempted from the first year who enter directly into year two, also conditional on completing the requirements on time. The published non-exempted schedule begins with a non-refundable ₹50,000 acceptance fee in May 2027, followed by ₹2 lakh in the first week of June 2027 and ₹1.25 lakh installments in June 2028, 2029, 2030 and 2031. Confirm the exemption decision and the live payment instructions with the admissions office; the ₹5 lakh figure is not a general discount for all applicants.
The application form fee is separate from the programme fee: ₹1,000 for General/OBC applicants and ₹500 for SC/ST applicants, non-refundable. Do not add this application charge to the programme total when comparing tuition, but include it in the cash required to apply.
IIM Lucknow’s PGP-SM page lists downloadable fee structures by batch, including 2026-28 and 2025-27. This establishes that the programme has batch-specific fee schedules, but the exact 2026-28 amount could not be established from the captured page text. Follow the 2026-28 link for the line-by-line amount and payment dates. Do not reuse an earlier batch’s charges as a 2027-29 quote, and do not treat the general MBA-SM policy as a Noida-campus fee table.
Compare like with like. IPMX includes basic room and food while PGPWE and MBA-FB are non-residential and leave accommodation outside the listed programme charge. PGPWE’s international immersion is mandatory; MBA-FB’s global immersion is optional and has a dissertation alternative. IPMX separately charges airfare and overseas-module incidentals even though academic inputs, visa and stay are included. EFPM’s lower total is tied to a specific year-two entry and exemption route.
Before accepting an offer, ask the programme office for the current written schedule, tax treatment, refund conditions, lodging terms and any travel estimate that can change with actual bookings. For IPMX and PGPWE, check the payment phase and term dates on the live portal. For MBA-FB, decide which optional immersion or dissertation route you are pricing. For EFPM, confirm the exemption status in writing. For PGP-SM, open the fee PDF for the exact batch being considered. The source set does not establish a 2027-29 PGP-SM amount, and no fee is inferred for that future batch.
