Read the published admission guide below. Keep each programme, admission year and counselling-merit scale separate when interpreting historical figures.
Compare cutoffs for the same course, quota, category, domicile and round.
No dated 2027-28 cutoff score, rank or closing-marks list is established in the official ITS UG admission pages reviewed. The site’s banner showed admissions open for 2026-27 on 5 November 2026, while the page describing selection criteria does not identify an admission year. Applicants should therefore treat its percentage and process statements as undated institutional guidance, not a confirmed rule for the next intake. There is no reliable basis here to estimate a 2027-28 closing score or compare a candidate with a supposed last-admitted mark.
“Cutoff” can mean different things: a minimum eligibility percentage, an entrance-test qualifying score, or the last score admitted after a merit or counselling round. The current evidence reviewed does not provide a year- and programme-specific score series for BBA or BCA. It also does not identify a counselling round, candidate category, quota, or opening and closing rank. The 45% figure on ITS’s selection page is a stated eligibility threshold on an undated page; it is not a reported closing mark or a score trend.
If a current representative quotes a number, ask what decision it controls. A minimum percentage tells an applicant whether they meet a stated academic condition. A first-come instruction concerns registration order. A score from the Personal Interactive Session would be a separate selection measure, while the last admitted candidate’s marks would be a closing outcome. A useful cutoff record needs the programme, admission year, round or stage, category or quota, and the metric used. Without those details, marks from another cycle or a different CCS University college are not a sound comparison for ITS Mohan Nagar. Nor can a published intake figure tell you how many seats remain after applications or offers.
The eligibility page says prospective undergraduate applicants should have cleared Class 12 or an equivalent examination from CBSE, ICSE or another recognised board, subject to CCS University eligibility norms. The separate selection-procedure page states a minimum of 45% in Senior Secondary education and says candidates meeting the university’s criteria should register on a first-come-first-served basis.
Those pages do not show when the 45% statement took effect, whether it applies identically to both degrees in the 2027-28 cycle, how board equivalence is assessed, or what exceptions or category relaxations apply. The general eligibility page does not repeat the 45% number. Until ITS confirms the cycle-specific notice, do not treat the percentage as a guaranteed current cutoff, nor treat it as proof that anyone above it will receive a seat. Eligibility is a threshold for applying; admission depends on the institution’s applicable selection and seat-allocation process.
The selection page also lists intake figures of 360 for BCA and 480 for BBA, but gives no academic session or category-wise distribution. These are not a live vacancy count and cannot be used to predict a closing percentage. A document checklist includes a caste certificate “if applicable”; that alone does not establish a reservation quota, category-wise cutoff or relaxation. Ask for the current written policy before using category assumptions in a shortlist.
ITS’s official FAQ answers that the Mohan Nagar campus does not conduct an entrance examination for BBA and BCA. It describes a Personal Interactive Session instead, covering verbal ability, analytical thinking, academic aptitude and general awareness. The FAQ says the interaction is not intended to test school-based learning. Its answer has no admission-year label, so applicants for 2027-28 should confirm that the same route applies to their cycle.
The FAQ does not publish a score, rubric, passing mark, panel weighting or session-wise selection list. It therefore supports a distinction between an entrance-test cutoff and an institutional interaction, but it does not establish that the session has no evaluative component. Do not translate “no entrance examination” into “no selection step” or assume an applicant’s Class 12 percentage alone determines admission. Ask whether BBA and BCA use the same session, what documents to bring, how the interaction is assessed, and when the decision is issued.
The How to Apply page directs prospective BBA/BCA applicants to visit the campus for details or submit an online enquiry; it also links to the online application. The official site displayed a 2026-27 admissions banner during this review, not a confirmed 2027-28 notice. Use the application link as the official contact route, then request a dated prospectus or written admission notice for the year you intend to join.
Before paying an application or admission amount, ask ITS to confirm these points in writing:
If an adviser quotes a “cutoff,” ask for the source year, programme, category, quota, selection stage and metric. A percentage required to apply, an interaction outcome and the last admitted candidate’s marks are not interchangeable. Until a dated notice or result table supplies comparable figures, use the official minimum only as an undated reference point and do not treat it as a 2027-28 admission guarantee.
