JBIMS in Maharashtra has historical cutoff records for MAHCET, CMAT, CAT on this page. There is no single cutoff for the whole college: read each course, category, quota and round separately. Coverage below reflects the records on this page.
The latest recorded year is 2025. 10 records in that group cover 1 named category. Across the available years, 5 distinct course labels are recorded.
Showing 5 of 5 profiles, ordered by course and category. Browse every loaded record in the full table above.
The strongest cutoff evidence verified for JBIMS here is a provisional 2025–26 CAP Round III allotment list for its MMS course. It records separate Maharashtra state-level and All India seat pools. The values below are historical observed allotment scores from that list, not 2027–28 cutoffs, final admission guarantees or a forecast. Maharashtra State CET Cell’s 2026–27 CAP page now links to the MBA/MMS portal, but a comparable 2026–27 JBIMS allotment result was not verified in the material captured for this article.
The official Round III allotment list names institute code 3001, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, and course code 0300110210, M.M.S. It labels the course as University Department-Autonomous, gives Mumbai University as the home university and lists 120 sanctioned and CAP seats, divided into 102 Maharashtra State seats and 18 All India seats. These counts explain why the state and All India lists must be read separately.
The last listed records by the following seat types in the provisional Round III document are:
These are not interchangeable ranks. The document labels one column MeritNo and another Merit Score. Its legend says merit number is the State General Merit No. for Maharashtra candidates and the All India Merit No. for All India candidates. It does not label these merit scores as percentiles in the table. The values are therefore presented as merit scores, not relabelled as percentile or category rank.
The symbols matter. The list says ^ marks candidates admitted to the institute and & marks a newly allotted seat. The last GOPENS and AI rows shown above carry the newly allotted marker; they are provisional round outcomes, not confirmation that the candidate reported and completed admission. The EWS row is marked admitted. Do not silently combine those statuses into a single “final cutoff.”
In the Round III list, GOPENS is a seat-type label in the Maharashtra state-level table, while OPEN is the candidate category shown in the row. The All India section is a separate seat pool and also records a candidate category. The EWS example likewise has a candidate category of OPEN/EWS and a seat type of EWS. A candidate should compare the row relevant to their own candidature and allotment pool, not whichever number looks least restrictive.
The list is a round-specific provisional allotment, so its values answer a narrow question: what score and merit number appear on the lowest listed record for that seat type in this round’s document? They do not represent a universal eligibility threshold, a qualifying score for MAH-MBA/MMS CET, or a guarantee of admission. The same document includes rows marked as already admitted and newly allotted, which means an estimate should retain both the round and row status.
For a meaningful year-to-year comparison, keep all of these fixed: MMS course code, academic year, CAP round, Maharashtra State or All India seat pool, seat type, candidate category, and the table’s merit-number and merit-score columns. Do not compare a state MeritNo with an All India MeritNo, an OPEN row with an EWS seat type, or a Round I score with a Round III outcome and call the difference a trend. A late-round list can include retained admissions and new allotments; inspect the official status marker before interpreting movement.
The evidence captured here establishes the 2025–26 Round III records above, but it does not include a complete comparable prior-year series for these same seat types. No direction of cutoff movement is claimed. Likewise, these historical scores should not be used to predict 2027–28 results. Seat availability, candidate choices and the applicable rules may differ in a later cycle; this article does not infer their effect from one past list.
Use Maharashtra State CET Cell’s CAP 2026–27 page to reach the MBA/MMS admission portal, then open the official institute-wise or round-wise allotment documents when published. JBIMS also posts its MMS CAP announcements. Check the academic year printed in the document before applying a value to your target intake.
When reviewing a new list, locate JBIMS by institute name and code, then confirm the course code is MMS. Find the correct seat pool and seat type, read the candidate category in that row, and keep the exact merit number and score labels. If the document is provisional, note whether the last relevant record is newly allotted or already admitted. That is a reproducible historical comparison; it is more reliable than carrying a single “JBIMS cutoff” number across categories, rounds and years.
