Current status and 2026 release information
KEA’s 2026 UGCET bulletin listed admission-ticket downloads for eligible applicants from 10 April 2026 at 11:00 am onwards. That was the release date in the original calendar for the examination held on 23 and 24 April 2026; it has passed. The bulletin does not state a release date for a 2027 ticket. Candidates should use the current KEA notice and candidate portal for their own cycle. Do not treat an old download link, screenshot or prior-year date as a current hall-ticket announcement.
For CET-2026, KEA described a candidate portal where applicants could log in to download and print documents such as the receipt, admit card, verification slip, instructions and timetable. The portal’s ticket access was for eligible applicants. If the ticket was not visible, first check the candidate’s application status and the current KEA notice for eligibility, payment or verification steps. The 2026 bulletin also says application printing was tied to document verification for some claim paths, so a pending verification status could matter.
Before downloading or printing
Use the KEA website and the authenticated candidate portal. Keep the application number and the credentials established for that candidate ready; follow the portal’s current login instructions. Do not share credentials or rely on a third-party site that asks for personal data. If the portal is slow, return through KEA’s own website and check for an official notice before attempting repeated submissions.
After opening the ticket, check the candidate’s name and identifying details against the submitted application, the test date and subject session against KEA’s timetable, and the assigned venue information and reporting instructions shown on the ticket. These are practical consistency checks: the 2026 bulletin directs candidates to use the admission ticket and preserve it, while exact fields and venue-specific instructions are determined by the ticket itself. If a material detail appears wrong or the document is unavailable, contact KEA through the current official support route promptly and retain the application reference and a copy of the status shown. Do not assume that a saved application page can replace an admission ticket.
Print and keep the document in the form required by the current instructions. The bulletin’s 2026 candidate portal was designed to let applicants download and print examination documents. It also tells candidates to preserve the admit card until admission is completed, not merely until the test ends. Keep it with the application, fee proof, verification slip, marks records and any claim certificates because those documents may be needed later during verification and seat allotment.
Match your ticket to your exam route
The KCET paper combination depends on the programme. Engineering and Technology candidates appeared for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; Farm Science candidates used PCMB; veterinary, BNYS and nursing used PCB; and B-Pharm or Pharm-D candidates used PCM or PCB as specified. Medical, dental and AYUSH candidates used the NEET route, while architecture candidates used NATA, but the 2026 bulletin still required those applicants to register with KEA and complete the KEA application and fee steps to take part in state counselling. A candidate should check the exact KEA timetable for the route selected rather than assume every applicant sits all four KCET papers.
In 2026, Physics and Chemistry were scheduled on 23 April in separate morning and afternoon sessions; Mathematics and Biology were scheduled on 24 April. Each paper was 80 minutes and carried 60 marks. The printed admission ticket and any later KEA instructions control the candidate’s assigned session and venue. If the candidate is covered by the Horanadu or Gadinadu Kannadiga language-test clauses, the 2026 bulletin listed a separate Kannada test on 22 April at specified centres. That language test is not a general requirement for every KCET applicant.
Exam-day document and answer-sheet readiness
Read the complete ticket and instructions before exam day. Keep the ticket available in the required printed or electronic form stated by KEA and confirm the venue and session early enough to plan travel. Follow the prohibited-items and reporting rules in the current instructions; the 2026 source should not be used to infer any later-cycle rule that KEA has changed.
KEA’s 2026 bulletin describes OMR answer sheets and a specimen on its website. It says candidate particulars, CET number, question-booklet version and answers are recorded on the sheet, and instructs candidates to shade the required circles fully using a blue or black ballpoint pen. Practising with the official specimen is useful because a correct answer marked against the wrong booklet code or in the wrong space may not be evaluated as intended. Follow the actual paper’s version code and invigilator directions on the day.
If details are wrong or the ticket is missing
Check the portal status, the current date notice and any document-verification instruction. If the ticket still cannot be downloaded or an identity, subject, session or centre detail is inconsistent, raise the issue through KEA’s official help channel before the examination and keep proof of the request. The 2026 bulletin instructs candidates to monitor KEA’s website and their registered mobile/email because urgent notices may be sent there. It also asks candidates to preserve the admission card through admission. For the next cycle, use only the current official portal and notice; KEA has not announced 2027-28 ticket access details in the cited bulletin.
