Current cycle status
As checked on 27 October 2026, the latest official examination calendar available in the opened KEA UGCET-2026 Information Bulletin is for the 2026 cycle. It does not establish dates for UGCET-2027. KEA has not announced the 2027 registration window, application deadline, ticket-release date, exam timetable or result date in this source. Do not carry 2026 dates forward as an expected 2027 calendar. Check the KEA UGCET portal when the next bulletin and notices are published.
The dates below are the calendar printed in Bulletin-1 for the 2026-27 admission cycle. They are historical milestones, not upcoming deadlines. KEA can issue later notices that change an initial schedule; where an applicant is acting on a live cycle, the dated notice and candidate portal control. The bulletin is dated 16 January 2026 and its calendar begins with publication of the information bulletin after 11:00 am on 17 January 2026. The fact that document verification and form submission overlap in the original calendar does not mean every candidate had the same in-person step: the bulletin describes different verification paths based on the candidate’s clause and claims. Read the personalized claim certificate and portal status along with the general dates. An applicant should not wait for the final day to discover a certificate mismatch or an unpaid fee, because the form and payment deadlines were separate events.
2026 examination calendar
The 2026 timetable placed Physics on 23 April from 10:30 to 11:50 am and Chemistry from 2:30 to 3:50 pm. Mathematics was scheduled on 24 April from 10:30 to 11:50 am, followed by Biology from 2:30 to 3:50 pm. Each subject paper carried 60 marks. Engineering applicants needed the PCM sessions; the bulletin’s subject table identifies different combinations for other programmes. The Kannada language test was limited to candidates covered by the specified Horanadu or Gadinadu Kannadiga eligibility clauses; it was not a fifth paper for every KCET applicant.
Dates that the original calendar left open
Bulletin-1 did not assign a result declaration date. It stated that the result date would be published later. It also left agriculturist-quota practical-test document verification and the practical examination date to be notified later by the Agriculture University. Those entries should not be converted into estimates from the April exam dates. The later official notice for a result, practical test, document-verification window or counselling round is the relevant source for that event.
KEA’s printed calendar is useful for understanding the sequence, but candidates should keep event types separate. Application submission and payment had different deadlines. An admission ticket became available after application processing. The Kannada test had its own date and eligible group. A result date and seat-allotment calendar were not included as fixed dates in this initial bulletin. Counselling and option-entry dates therefore belong to later course-specific KEA notices, not to an assumed interval after the exam.
How to follow the next notice safely
For the next cycle, begin with the KEA website and find the current UGCET information bulletin and dated calendar. Confirm the academic year, event name, time, timezone if stated, and whether the notice is an initial schedule, a revision or an extension. Save the notice and check the candidate portal for applicant-specific documents and status. If KEA revises only one milestone, do not assume every other date moved with it.
Before submitting, note the application and payment cutoffs separately and allow time to resolve a payment or verification status issue. For an examination, use the admission ticket and the current subject timetable rather than a coaching-site calendar. Candidates claiming an applicable Kannada-language, special-category or agriculturist route should check the authority’s own notice for their event and proof requirements. For 2027, no date in the 2026 table is a forecast; wait for KEA’s announcement and use its latest notice.
