Great Lakes Gurgaon’s full-time PGPM and PGDM are different choices, not two fee labels for the same course. The institute describes PGPM as a one-year route aimed at experienced candidates; the two-year PGDM is a separate full-time, residential programme. The current curriculum pages show how each course uses that time. PGPM spans seven terms, with Finance, Marketing, Operations, Strategy and Analytics in the early core and later terms opening into specialisation and applied learning. The institute describes dual specialisation, pairing functional areas such as Finance, Marketing or Operations with industry majors including Analytics, Data Science, Consulting and Strategy. Its examples include Machine Learning, Deep Learning and AI, Natural Language Processing, product analytics, and consulting labs. These are curriculum-page descriptions, not a guarantee that every combination will be offered in each cohort.
PGDM is organised over six terms. The published first three terms move from accounting, microeconomics, marketing, organisational behaviour, statistics and communication into cost accounting, macroeconomics, operations, ethics and written communication, then into strategy, research methods, finance, business analytics, law, design thinking and HR. Electives begin in Terms 4 through 6. This sequence gives applicants a practical distinction: the PGDM shows a longer foundation before electives, while the PGPM’s shorter course places core preparation and specialised learning within seven terms. Compare the actual course plans for your intake if the sequence matters to your goals.
The distinction matters when comparing cost. The published fee schedules available in the captured official pages are for different editions: PGPM 2026-27 and PGDM 2026-28. They are historical published totals, not confirmed prices for the 2027-28 PGPM or 2027-29 PGDM intakes. Keep course length, academic charges, accommodation, meals, refundable deposits and lost earnings on separate lines before comparing options.
The Gurgaon PGPM curriculum page describes seven terms. It places Finance, Marketing, Operations, Strategy and Analytics in the early core, with electives and applied learning later. The institute lists functional areas such as Finance, Marketing and Operations, alongside industry-oriented options including Analytics, Data Science, Consulting and Strategy. Its named examples include Machine Learning, Deep Learning and AI, Natural Language Processing, Big Data and Cloud Analytics, and Cyber Security and Data Governance in the Business Analytics specialisation. Product Management examples include Product Discovery and Market Fit, Product Strategy and Road Mapping, Product Analytics and Metrics, and AI for Product Management. The page also describes labs in communication, data interpretation, storytelling with data, innovation, consulting, product management and operations. These are current curriculum descriptions; confirm the electives actually offered to your intake before treating a listed option as guaranteed.
The fee table separates tuition and programme fees from accommodation and smaller charges. The amount labelled “Total Fees” combines the academic subtotal, housing, refundable deposit and alumni subscription; the ₹10,000 caution deposit is not the same as a non-refundable tuition charge. The official FAQ says fees are paid in stages according to the institute’s schedule shared with admitted candidates. It mentions education loans, but neither loan eligibility nor disbursement is included in the fee quote.
The official PGPM fee page is labelled 2026-27. For Indian students, tuition is ₹12.44 lakh and programme fees are ₹6.37 lakh, making academic fees ₹18.81 lakh. The same schedule adds ₹3.54 lakh for twin-sharing air-conditioned accommodation, a refundable ₹10,000 caution deposit and ₹5,000 alumni subscription. The listed total is ₹22.50 lakh. The arithmetic reconciles: ₹18.81 lakh + ₹3.54 lakh + ₹0.10 lakh + ₹0.05 lakh = ₹22.50 lakh.
The page says hostel accommodation is mandatory and twin-sharing air-conditioned rooms are provided. Vegetarian meals are included; non-vegetarian food costs extra. Tuition includes reading material such as case studies, textbooks and online resources. A laptop that meets institute specifications is required. Housing and catering may be outsourced, with charges paid to service providers and coordinated by the institute. The published total therefore covers named items, not all personal spending during the year.
The official Gurgaon curriculum page describes the PGDM as a two-year, full-time residential programme across six terms. Early terms include accounting, economics, marketing, organisational behaviour, quantitative methods and communication. The listed core also covers operations, ethics, strategy, finance, business analytics, law, design thinking and human resources. Electives begin in Terms 4 through 6, across Marketing, Finance, Operations, HR, Analytics and Open Electives. Examples on the page include Product & Brand Management, Financial Statement Analysis & Valuation, Supply Chain Management, HR Analytics, Machine Learning and Business Intelligence. The curriculum page does not promise that every elective will run in every cohort.
The Gurgaon fee page lists a 2026-28 schedule. For Indian students, tuition is ₹8.30 lakh and programme fees are ₹5.05 lakh, totalling ₹13.35 lakh in academic fees. Accommodation is ₹6.32 lakh for twin-sharing AC, the refundable caution deposit is ₹10,000 and the alumni subscription is ₹5,000. The listed total is ₹19.82 lakh; the components reconcile to that amount. This is the published 2026-28 schedule, not a quote for the 2027-29 class.
Hostel accommodation is mandatory. Twin-sharing AC is typical, but the institute says triple-sharing AC may be assigned in the first year depending on availability; in that case, the lower charge is refunded on a prorated basis for the terms affected. Vegetarian meals are included and non-vegetarian meals cost extra. Tuition includes reading materials, case studies, textbooks and online resources. A personal laptop, personal travel and miscellaneous expenses are excluded. The institute says detailed payment instructions and schedules are shared with admitted candidates after offer acceptance; the public fee page does not publish future-cycle instalment dates. It also says the refund policy follows applicable AICTE norms, so use the applicable rules and the offer paperwork rather than treating the page as a complete case-specific refund calculation.
The listed PGPM total is ₹22.50 lakh for one year, while the PGDM total is ₹19.82 lakh across two years. The PGPM schedule includes ₹3.54 lakh for accommodation; the PGDM schedule includes ₹6.32 lakh. The academic components differ too: ₹18.81 lakh for PGPM versus ₹13.35 lakh for PGDM. Because the schedules cover different programme lengths and different entry cohorts, the raw totals do not establish which route is cheaper per year or better value. The site does not give a common future intake quote that would support a same-year price comparison. The schedules also have different fee periods and different accommodation amounts: ₹3.54 lakh for PGPM 2026-27 and ₹6.32 lakh for PGDM 2026-28. Dividing the totals by one versus two years would still not make them fully comparable, because they are not the same intake year and the work opportunity cost, fee instalments and actual room allocation differ by student.
For a household estimate, separate non-refundable academic fees from the refundable ₹10,000 caution deposit, then add laptop, travel, personal expenses and loan interest if applicable. Vegetarian meals are included in both schedules; non-vegetarian food is extra. PGDM room charges may change if triple-sharing is assigned, with a prorated refund of the stated difference. The fee pages say payment stages or detailed schedules are shared with admitted candidates, and refunds follow applicable AICTE norms. They do not provide a binding future-cycle instalment calendar here.
Before accepting an offer, ask the admissions office for the current cohort’s complete fee sheet, installment due dates, room-allocation basis, refund treatment and any additional charges. Use the offer document for payment instructions. Do not carry forward either historical total as the price for the next class.
