ICFAI Business School (IBS) Ahmedabad manages its PGPM admissions through a centralised process common to all IBS campuses. For the upcoming 2027-2029 batch, the primary entry route is the IBS Aptitude Test (IBSAT) 2026, though candidates with competitive scores in CAT, XAT, NMAT by GMAC, or GMAT are exempt from the institutional exam.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) at IBS Ahmedabad, applicants must meet the following baseline requirements:

• Academic Pattern: A minimum of 15 years of formal education, following either a 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern.
• Graduation Score: A bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50 percent aggregate marks.
• Medium of Instruction: The applicant's graduation must have been completed with English as the medium of instruction. Candidates who do not meet this criterion must submit valid TOEFL, NELT, or IELTS scores.
• Final Year Students: Applicants currently in their final year of graduation are eligible to apply, provided they complete all practicals, viva, and academic requirements by May 31, 2027. Their admission remains provisional until graduation proof is supplied.

Accepted Entrance Exams and Cutoffs

IBS Ahmedabad does not publish rigid closing ranks. Instead, scores from national exams serve as minimum qualifying thresholds for the interview and micro-presentation rounds. Application and Selection Process

Admission to IBS Ahmedabad is a multi-stage process. All candidates, regardless of their chosen entrance exam, must register through the centralised IBS application portal.

1. Application Registration (Deadline: 3rd/4th Week of December 2026): Candidates must apply online at the official IBS admission portal. A non-refundable application fee of Rs 1,800 applies to all routes.
2. IBSAT 2026 (For non-exempt candidates): Registered applicants who do not hold valid national exam scores must book a slot in October and appear for IBSAT, typically scheduled for the last week of December 2026.
3. Selection Briefings (January 2027): Shortlisted candidates are invited to attend regional briefings that detail the final evaluation stages.
4. Final Selection Rounds (February 2027): The final evaluation comprises a Micro Presentation and a Personal Interview (PI).
5. Merit List: Final allotment is based on a composite evaluation of the entrance exam score, past academic record, and performance in the Micro Presentation and PI.

Fee Structure

For the documented 2026-2028 PGPM batch, the total programme fee is Rs 9.09 Lakhs. This is collected in installments over the two-year duration. Additionally, students are required to pay a refundable caution deposit of Rs 10,000 along with the first installment to secure their allotted seat. The institute maintains specific refund guidelines for candidates withdrawing their admission before the commencement of the programme; these should be reviewed directly on the official portal prior to fee payment.
