The Consortium’s directory is the starting point for finding NLUs offering admission through CLAT 2027. Its cycle-specific list includes NLSIU Bengaluru, NALSAR Hyderabad, NLIU Bhopal, WBNUJS Kolkata, NLU Jodhpur, HNLU Raipur, GNLU Gandhinagar and GNLU Silvassa, among others. Check the current list again before submitting preferences. Participating universities for CLAT 2027
Verify the exact programme and campus
A university name alone does not establish which degree, campus or seat category is available. Open the linked brochure and the institution’s admissions page for each choice. Confirm course title, eligibility, seat matrix, category or domicile rules, fees, hostel and reporting requirements. Some NLUs offer multiple integrated degrees or campuses; verify the exact programme shown in the current preference form.
NLUs and other score users
The Consortium distinguishes participating NLUs from affiliates that may use CLAT scores. Score use by an affiliate does not mean that it participates in central NLU counselling. Check the current affiliate list and the institution’s own admission notice for any separate application, eligibility or selection process. Do not assume score acceptance from a previous year continues in 2027.
The instructions also distinguish foreign-national and NRI/NRI-sponsored routes. They direct foreign nationals to approach the NLU directly and state that the Consortium does not allot NRI/NRI-sponsored seats. The individual university’s current brochure controls these routes and their documents.
Make a shortlist that fits
For every programme, note the NLU and campus, degree, CLAT paper, minimum qualification, category or domicile conditions, application route, fee and deadline. Mark whether it uses central counselling or a separate institution process. Order choices based on programmes you would accept after checking curriculum, location and costs. A common entrance score does not make the institutions’ admission rules identical.
Use the Consortium directory for the CLAT 2027 NLU list and each university’s own admission materials for details. Recheck both as the cycle proceeds for updates or clarifications.
