The SRMJEEE admit card is not a document you simply download and print. You unlock it by booking an exam slot first - a process that opens barely two days before each phase and fills on a first-come, first-served basis. Wait until the night before the exam, and your preferred date may already be gone.
This page covers slot booking windows for all three phases, the exact download steps, a checklist of what to verify on your hall ticket, the documents you must show to the remote proctor, and the do's and don'ts that determine whether your session runs smoothly or gets terminated mid-exam.
| Phase | Slot Booking Window | Mock Test | Admit Card Available | Exam Dates |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Phase 1 | 18 April 2026 (1:00 PM) - 20 April 2026 (11:00 PM) | 21 April (11:00 AM) - 23 April (8:00 PM) | Immediately after slot booking | 24 - 29 April 2026 |
| Phase 2 | 6 June 2026 - 7 June 2026 | To be announced (tentative 8 - 9 June) | Immediately after slot booking | 10 - 15 June 2026 |
| Phase 3 | Tentatively early July 2026 | Tentatively early July 2026 | Immediately after slot booking | 4 - 5 July 2026 |
All Phase 1 dates are from the official SRMIST candidate information document. Phase 2 and Phase 3 dates are based on the university's published exam calendar and independent confirmations of the slot booking windows. The admit card for each phase is issued separately; a single hall ticket does not cover multiple attempts.
Login credentials: Use your application number and date of birth, or your registered email ID and password - whichever the portal prompts on the day you log in. Keep both handy.

SRMIST does not generate an admit card until you select a test date and time through its Online Test Booking System (OTBS). Each phase operates its own booking window. No slot booking = no hall ticket. No exceptions.
Phase 1 slot booking opens from 18 April 2026 (1:00 PM) to 20 April 2026 (11:00 PM). Two slots are available each exam day: 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM.
Phase 2 slot booking runs 6 - 7 June 2026. The exam follows from 10 to 15 June.
Phase 3 slot booking will be a narrow window tentatively right after the application deadline of 30 June 2026 - often just two days before the exam on 4 - 5 July. Check the official portal daily as June ends.
Slots are allotted first-come, first-served. The moment the window activates, popular dates and morning slots vanish fast. Once you confirm a slot, it cannot be changed under any circumstance. Book before you finalise travel plans or take leave.
Once slot booking is complete, you can re-download your hall ticket any time before the exam from the candidate portal.
No printed copy of the admit card will be sent to your postal address. Some candidates may receive an email copy after slot booking - but the portal download remains the primary and most reliable source. Rely on the hard copy you printed yourself.
Before you close the PDF, scan every field. A mismatched photo, an incorrect date of birth, or a missing subject combination can cause the remote proctor to reject your identity during the live verification session.
Your hall ticket will display:
If you find an error - a misspelled name, a blurred photo, a wrong date of birth - act immediately. Email [email protected] or call 080 6908 7000. Have your application number ready and, if possible, the correct document you want reflected. Do not wait until the morning of the exam.
If the correction cannot be made in time, carry the complaint acknowledgement and your original ID proof to the remote proctoring session. Explain the discrepancy to the proctor when prompted.
The exam is remote-proctored, so you won't travel to a physical centre. Instead, you will hold each document up to your webcam for live verification.
Clear your desk of phones, smartwatches, books, notes, headphones, and any other electronic device. The proctor may ask for a 360-degree room scan at any point.
Every rule here is enforced by an AI engine and a live human proctor watching remotely. Violations can trigger a warning, and repeated or severe offences lead to the exam being terminated with no re-test.

SRMIST's official policy: no re-exam will be conducted for power cuts, internet failure, or faulty hardware. Arrange a stable setup and a backup hotspot if possible.
Start with these checks:
If the problem persists beyond these checks, call 080 6908 7000. Do not wait until the last date of the slot booking window.
| Phase | Application Deadline | Slot Booking | Admit Card | Exam Dates |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Phase 1 | 16 April 2026 | 18 - 20 April | Immediate after booking | 24 - 29 April |

| Phase 3 | 30 June 2026 | Early July (tentative) | Immediate after booking | 4 - 5 July |
Results, counselling, and seat allotment follow separately for each phase. The admit card remains important through counselling - some campuses may ask to see it during document verification.
