IBS Gurgaon is one of the IBS campuses offering the two-year full-time Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM). The common IBS admissions FAQ lists the MBA separately at Hyderabad, Dehradun, Jaipur and Bengaluru. For Gurgaon, use the PGPM route and campus selection in the application; do not transfer an MBA-specific condition or fee from another campus.
The current registration portal is labelled “IBSAT 2026 / NMT” for the “IBS 9 Campuses MBA/PGPM 2027-29” intake. This guide uses 2027-28 as its publication edition, but the admissions pages presently describe the IBSAT 2026 cycle and do not publish a separate Gurgaon-only rulebook. Read the IBS admissions page and official registration portal together, then check the bulletin and your application account before acting.
For the MBA and PGPM programmes, IBS states a minimum of 50% in graduation in any discipline, English as the medium of instruction, and at least 15 years of education in a 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern. The Admissions FAQ says the aggregate is calculated across all subjects and all years. A final-year bachelor’s student may apply if all graduation requirements, including practical examinations, viva and assignments, are completed by 31 May 2027. Applicants whose degree was not taught in English must submit TOEFL, NELT or IELTS evidence by that date.
These rules are stated for the shared MBA/PGPM route. The source does not provide a separate Gurgaon threshold or a campus-specific exception. If your transcript uses a different grading scale, your medium of instruction is not clear, or a result will arrive after the stated completion date, ask the admissions office for written confirmation before paying or relying on an application status.
The published route is IBSAT 2026, or a valid score from GMAT, NMAT by GMAC, CAT or XAT from 2024 onwards in place of IBSAT. The Admissions page lists those alternative tests specifically for the PGPM campuses, including Gurgaon. The pages reviewed do not publish a Gurgaon-specific percentile or score floor for these alternatives, so an accepted test name alone should not be read as a guaranteed shortlist. Check the bulletin for score validity, score-upload steps and any later notice that changes the accepted test year.
IBSAT is described as a two-hour computer-based test with 140 multiple-choice questions and no negative marking: Verbal Ability (50), Reading Comprehension (30), Quantitative Aptitude (30), and Data Adequacy and Data Interpretation (30). The FAQ calls it remote-proctored and says it can be taken from home. Follow the live portal’s exam instructions for device, identity and scheduling requirements; the broad format does not replace those operational instructions.
The registration portal currently advertises the 2027-29 intake. The application form is common across IBS campuses; choose the Gurgaon PGPM option and record the application number and password issued after a successful transaction. IBS describes online and offline application routes and lists an IBSAT 2026 application charge of ₹1,800. This is the IBSAT application charge, not a quoted two-year Gurgaon PGPM programme fee.
The dates are not fully consistent across IBS’s own admissions text. The Admission Process page gives a tentative application period from 1 July to the third week of December 2026 and says IBSAT is in December. The FAQ says the last date is December 2026 and specifically tells candidates who need to append a test score to apply before 19 December 2026, then update the score online by 31 January 2027. Treat 19 December as the latest specific published application instruction, not as a confirmed final deadline for every applicant. The current portal and your candidate account should be checked before submission.
There is a more consequential conflict in the proof-of-graduation date: the Admission Process page says 1 November 2026, already past on the date of this guide, while the FAQ says 1 November 2027. The same FAQ allows final-year applicants to complete graduation requirements by 31 May 2027. Do not assume either page silently corrects the other. Ask IBS Admissions which date controls for the 2027-29 Gurgaon PGPM and retain the written response.
IBS says candidates shortlisted through IBSAT or an accepted alternative score are invited to a selection process with a Micro Presentation and Personal Interview. Its admissions page also names past academic record from Class X through graduation as part of the final decision. It does not publish a numerical weight for each component on the pages reviewed, so do not infer a fixed percentage or a cutoff from the test pattern.
The Admission Process page lists February 2027 for selection and marks the week tentative; it places the process at IBS Hyderabad. The FAQ also says February 2027 but describes the call route using IBSAT 2025 in one answer, which does not align cleanly with the current IBSAT 2026 cycle. Use the date, venue and reporting instructions on your own call letter rather than planning travel from the general page. The site also places selection briefings in January 2027; attend only the session allocated to you.
Before applying, confirm that your degree marks meet the stated 50% threshold, your study pattern totals at least 15 years, and your undergraduate medium is English or that you can submit the required English-test evidence. Choose IBSAT 2026 or one of the listed alternative scores, then verify its accepted test year and upload procedure in the portal. If a score is pending, the FAQ’s 19 December 2026 application instruction and 31 January 2027 score-update date are the most specific dates found, but both should be checked against the live account.
Before you rely on the graduation-proof deadline, ask IBS Admissions to resolve the November 2026 versus November 2027 discrepancy for your 2027-29 application. The admissions text pages were available on IBS’s test.ibsindia.org subdomain when reviewed, while the live form is on admissions.ibsindia.org; the form confirms the 2027-29 intake label but does not resolve the conflicting checklist dates. Keep the bulletin, portal receipt and any written clarification with your application. No 2027-29-specific later rule or Gurgaon-only score cutoff was established in the reviewed material.
