For AILET 2027, NLU Delhi schedules the admit card to become available in each applicant’s online account from 30 November 2026. The B.A. LL.B. examination is scheduled for 13 December 2026, 2 pm to 4 pm, in offline OMR mode. As of 27 October 2026, the card has not yet reached its announced release date. Use the official AILET portal and your own login to retrieve it; the university does not say that an email attachment or third-party download will replace the portal copy.
The official AILET 2027 FAQ gives the release date, login and account-recovery details. The B.A. LL.B. application guidelines explain the original application details and photograph/signature uploads. This guide focuses on access, checking and using the card. Current 2027 centre reporting time, ID-proof list, permitted stationery and discrepancy-fix deadline are not stated in the FAQ; use the instructions printed on the card and any later official notice rather than carrying forward instructions from a previous cycle.
When to download it
The FAQ says the admit card will be available online in the AILET login with effect from 30 November 2026. That is the announced starting date for access, not a result date or a guarantee of a particular hour. Check the portal on or after the date and download the document promptly. Keep the file somewhere you can access on another device and retain a readable print if the admit-card instructions require one. The university’s current FAQ does not specify whether a digital copy alone will be accepted at the test centre, so do not assume the format rule; follow the card itself.
The exam date in the same FAQ is Sunday, 13 December 2026, from 2 pm to 4 pm. The scheduled interval between the listed card date and test date is 13 calendar days. Plan to confirm your centre and travel as soon as the card is issued. A test-city preference entered in the form is not the same as an assigned centre: candidates may choose up to three cities, but the university says preferences are not guaranteed. It also says a test centre may not be created in a city chosen by fewer than 200 applicants, and administrative or technical reasons can result in another city being assigned.
How to access the card
- Go to the official AILET website and open the AILET 2027 login.
- Sign in with the registered email address as the user ID and the password associated with the account. The FAQ says login details are sent to the registered email.
- Open the admit-card/download option when it becomes available from 30 November. Save the complete file and check that all pages are present and legible.
- If you cannot remember the password, use “Forgot Password” on the portal. The FAQ says an OTP is sent to the registered email address to reset it.
- Keep the login accessible until the examination and admission process is complete. NLU Delhi says the registered email cannot be changed, so use the account you used in the application.
The FAQ says no hard-copy application or supporting documents need to be sent to the university. That does not answer whether a physical admit card must be carried to the test centre; read the candidate instructions on the card for that. The FAQ also advises candidates to keep two identical photographs in reserve, which may be needed for pasting on the admit card at the test, counselling or admission if required. Use the official instruction as written and avoid altering the card or pasting a photograph unless told to do so.
Details to check before exam day
Compare the information visible on the card with the application you submitted and your identity records. Check the spelling of your name, application or roll identifier if shown, photograph, test date, reporting time, centre name and full address, and any category or accommodation detail printed there. This is a practical check list, not a statement that every listed item must appear on every candidate’s card. The university’s current FAQ does not enumerate the admit-card fields.
The assigned centre is especially important. Confirm the complete address and how you will reach it; a city name alone is not enough to plan travel. If the card shows a centre different from your first preference, compare it with your submitted application and the allocation rules. The FAQ permits the university to allot another centre for administrative or technical reasons, so a preference mismatch by itself does not prove an error. If the assigned city or other detail appears inconsistent, contact the university through the current support route promptly and keep your application number and a copy of the card available.
If personal details appear wrong, do not edit the PDF yourself or assume that an application correction window remains open. The FAQ says an application correction period is available for three days after the 10 November application deadline, but it does not specify a separate admit-card correction window or the fields that can be changed. Report the discrepancy to AILET support and follow written directions. Preserve the original download and any response so you can show what the portal issued and when.
If the card is not visible or login fails
First check that the official release date has arrived and that you are using the same registered email address as the user ID. Use the password-reset option if needed. The FAQ says the registered email cannot be changed; if you no longer have access to that mailbox, contact support from an accessible email and identify your application rather than creating another account or submitting a duplicate form.
If the admit-card option remains unavailable after the release date, confirm that your application appears as successfully submitted and that payment is complete. The FAQ’s payment guidance says that if the portal shows payment pending despite a successful transaction, wait at least 24 hours and recheck; if it still persists, write to [email protected] with the application number, name, mobile, email and transaction details, attaching proof where appropriate. This instruction is specifically for a payment-status issue, not a stated admit-card appeal process, but it gives the official contact channel for resolving an account record problem. Do not send full card data or passwords in an email.
The FAQ says a duplicate application-fee transaction is automatically refunded in 7-15 working days. If your card is unavailable because the portal has not linked a payment, include the transaction proof and keep the acknowledgement receipt. Avoid paying again unless the university directs you to do so. The application guidance says the application fee is non-refundable, so a second payment should not be used as a troubleshooting step.
What to follow on the card itself
AILET 2027 is a two-hour pen-and-paper test using an OMR sheet. The card and any separate candidate instruction notice should control the centre entry time, identity documents, photograph requirement, writing instruments, accessibility arrangements and items that cannot be carried inside. The current FAQ does not yet state those operational details for 2027. Do not assume the previous cycle’s reporting time, late-entry cutoff or permitted-items list applies unchanged.
When the 2027 instructions are available, note the exact reporting time and entry cut-off, then plan to arrive with a margin for security and seating. Verify the route to the named centre in advance. Keep your admit card and whatever identification the current notice requires ready, but do not rely on an unofficial list of acceptable identification. If you need an accommodation, check the university’s current PwD instructions and contact the official office before the test rather than waiting until arrival.
At the centre, follow the invigilator’s directions for the question booklet and OMR sheet. The AILET scheme lists 150 multiple-choice questions across English, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning. Accurate candidate identifiers and answer marking matter in an OMR examination; listen to the room instructions before writing or filling any field. No score, counselling or admission guarantee is created by possession of an admit card.
After the examination
Keep the card and application receipt until results and any counselling steps are complete. The admit card establishes your exam assignment; it is not an admission offer. For the 2027 cycle, the university has not yet announced a result date in its current FAQ. It says counselling instructions will be notified when the result is announced. Continue checking the official portal and registered email after the test, since the login remains the route for subsequent updates.
If the examination date or centre changes, rely on the latest official notice and card version. The 2027 schedule is current as of the date shown above, and later revisions may supersede it. A saved PDF is useful for reference, but confirm that no revised admit card or centre notice has been issued before travel.
